Avantages :

If a user has a question or forgot how to do a task it is easy to logon to the PIMSY help desk and reference videos or PDF files on most topics.

Inconvénients :

It has to be connected to the internet, so if the web connection drops the software will shutdown. This can be difficult when working in incremental weather.

Commentaires : Pimsy operates in a delayed fashion. We need a manual for Pimsy to be more user friendly, so that we could figure out which reports we need. The customer service is excellent.

Avantages :

The customer service is excellent. We always get courteous help in a timely manner.

I wish there was a tutorial or book for how to questions.

Very Happy with PIMSY EHR

Commentaires : So fare our experience with PIMSY EHR have need great, since we started using PIMSY getting things done both in and out of the office has been simplified.

Avantages :

Inspiring Minds Inc's Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program was in need of a affordable EHR system that would help us to both streamline the services we provide to our clients as well as be affordable on a very tight budget. We found exactly what we needed in PIMSY, there are many reasons PIMSY Mental Health EHR works for us here are my top 3: Set up was a breeze, did not require a lot of work on our part PIMSY did all of the heavy lifting all that was required from us was copies of the documents we wanted incorporated into the system. PIMSY trained our staff on the new system. When we were first introduced to the PIMSY system it was a little overwhelming because of its many capabilities, the support staff at PIMSY spent many months with us training our staff on the parts of the system that pertain to our program. PIMSY support is out of this world. After training was completed and our EHR system was up and running we were not on our own PIMSY support was right there with us every step of the way. Every time there was a problem with the system PIMSY support was there, if our staff needed to be retrained on any part of the system someone was there to walk them through it again. After we become more proficient with the system and realised that additional forms were needed in the system PIMSY support was able to help with that also. I would recommend PIMSY to anyone with a mental health business of any size in need of a reliable EHR system. It simply works great.

Inconvénients :

No complaints, it is a large system with many capabilities and not all may be useful to your particular program

Clunky software

Avantages :

This product seems to offer good features for billing and notes. There are automatic preset notes for progress reports. It is easy to look at each client's chart/file, it will bring up all notes, demographic info, billing, etc.

Inconvénients :

This product can only operate on Windows and it runs VERY slow. You always have to refresh the calendar to make any changes. The phone app is also very old and has very limited features.

Great software for behavioral health providers or facilities!

Commentaires : The team at PIMSY is amazing! They are all very professional, and they make training sessions fun. It is easy to contact anyone at PIMSY and responses are typically very prompt.

Avantages :

Once a person is trained on the software, it is user friendly. If a user has a question or forgot how to do a task it is easy to logon to the PIMSY help desk and reference videos or PDF files on most topics. In addition to this the software is updated frequently based on the demands of the industry and PIMSY is willing to accommodate most needs, specific to each company. It is also nice to be able to login remotely to check the calendar for upcoming appointments.

Inconvénients :

There is no way to calculate or track the out of pocket maximum for patients within the system, at times this can make it hard to not overcharge patients. At times users will lose connection since the program is cloud based. When connection is lost, the information that was being entered can potentially be lost as well, because of this an auto save feature would be nice.

Pimsy has reduced all missed signatures issues by populating all signatures to all document that requires signatures. Pimsy's product you can complete a behavioral mental health assessment then within the same note ID number transition to the CFARS/FARS as well as within seven (7) days of your bio-psychosocial this Pimsy product will map over from your behavioral assessment items that has the same identical questions and answers will populate over to your bio-psychosocial document resulting in reduced time on documentation allowing for behavioral mental health worker to engage in more time with their clients as planned.

Avantages :

Pimsy well-trained staff like [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has made using Pimsy product a breeze in the park by evidence of the following: My agency went from paper files to electronic paperless files with an easy transition without taking away from the integrity and/or quality of the structure of our existing documentation. Pimsy well-train staff were able to take my agency documentation to the next level. Equally important Pimsy's software is user friendly once you practice hands on you will become a pro in no time as long as you put in the work.

Inconvénients :

Pimsy has so many features packed within one product to be honest I can't identify a feature that is missing.

Excellent Program

Commentaires : I would highly recommend Pimsy to other therapists who are looking to streamline their paperwork at a reasonable monthly cost. To me, the most important thing about an EMR is to have the features that you need, have it customizable to your business, rather big or small, and to be able to use those features. I don't care if you have the best program in the world, if you can't use it, then it doesn't help you. Pimsy has the features that I need and the customer support to teach me how to use them. I feel my hours of research for a good EMR company has paid off. Pimsy more than pays for itself by streamlining my office, improving efficiency and reducing billing times. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good EMR company that will help you implement its program and help you with any questions you have along the way.

Avantages :

I researched multiple EMR programs to find one that was affordable for a small business owner like myself, yet had all the features for a big company, so I could expand my practice. Pimsy was the clear winner. EMRs are completely new to me, and Pimsy was easy enough for me to implement and understand. With all technology and new programs, there is a learning curve, but Pimsy makes that easy. I can always call or email and get an immediate reply and if I need additional help, they will join me on my computer and walk me through exactly how to do whatever I am needing. This is all included in the monthly fee. I can now do my electronic billing that used to take days in a matter of minutes. No more searching for folders, spending hours on billing, trying to remember insurance authorizations. It is all here. Thanks to Pimsy, I am getting ready to add a therapist to my practice, because I now have the tools I need to effectively manage my clients, my billing, and more therapists.

Inconvénients :

There are a few features that I would love to see implemented into Pimsy. For instance, the automatic messaging program is still in the beta stage, and I felt like it needed a little more features, before I would want to use that for my company. But because Pimsy is a customer centered business, they take the customer suggestions for improvements and try to implement them in their next quarterly update. So if I ever run across something that I would like to see or perhaps a simple thing that I think would be helpful, I can just submit a support ticket and they will add it to their list of things to look at for the next update.

Commentaires : Our compliance concerns have been significant for the last 2 years, along with the integrity of the previous system. We all had to worked very hard with many many hours each day and week to stay on top of compliance needs for our clients and staff. With PIMSY we set the alerts and do not have to think about it again until the alert comes up. This has taken a HUGE weigh and worry of our hour shoulders. This will also free up our time to build our agency where we want it to be with quality of work, nurturing our staff, having time to meet more of our clients to build stronger therapeutic working relationships as well as the same with our referral sources. Not to sound to sappy....but, PIMSY really has and will impact our day to day functions in such a positive manor that I have all ready seen the stress levels decrease in our management staff.

Avantages :

So easy to use!! I am not an electronics or software person, and typically if something has too many steps I give up and ask someone for help quickly. With PIMSY the software is very user friendly, and even I can create what we need for our agency with no frustrations, and actually have fun while doing it!

Inconvénients :

The payroll system does not have all that we need, however with that said the PIMSY team has been tenacious, has had constant follow up after each change, and continues to work with us to be able to create the payroll form we need, and our payroll company needs.

PIMSY in my opinion

Commentaires : As we use PIMSY more and more, it becomes a little more apparent that the features of this program are pretty good. While it is missing some safeguards that we had hoped (and were told) were available, such as holding billing if no consent to bill was turned in, it is generally pretty easy to go back and check once you add this into your billers work flow. There were several things we were sold on that were not accurate, but PIMSY has stepped up in most cases and created a work around for these - such as not being Mac compliant. Switching from a windows based EMR to an excel based EMR has been very trying and difficult for most of our employees. I feel like training was a vague overview of the system and there is so much more to learn that we stumble upon and through - not that the employees at PIMSY are not knowledgeable but that it's such a vast system to learn and truly working in it teaches you what to look for, but maybe a better understanding from the beginning of what flows from where would have made it a little more smooth of a transition. We had some major billing issues in the beginning, but have recovered nicely and for the most part everything is running smoothly at this moment. As we continue to use the system, I personally get more comfortable with it and the ease of use increases, however I am sitting behind a desk in a stationary location. Many of our traveling therapists are unable to use the program on the go because it's not a mobile program and it's too time consuming to try to load at each patients home which is causing many more after hours work.

Avantages :

being able to add documents, one place to keep track of everything, being able to add/build reports

Inconvénients :

not Mac compatible, not mobile friendly, errors not clear to what is wrong/how to fix, and most times there is not a customer service rep available to help, you have to leave a message and wait for a call back

PIMSY allows our business to grow successfully

Commentaires : When we first began PIMSY was still working on programming secondary claims integration for EDI. Once this was live, it made a huge impact on reducing my time on claims processing.

Avantages :

PIMSY has allowed our Non Profit the ability to be productive and successful all at an affordable cost. Scheduling, medical records, coordination with Pediatricians and billing in one system is simple. PIMSY's functionality improves every year with insightful integrations that continue to make running a busy mental health office easier. The billing and customer service teams are undeniably amazing!

Inconvénients :

PIMSY works hard every year to improve their software and meet the needs of their customers. Understanding the initial build well is critical and taking the time to carefully learn and review options will ease any long term stress.

Comprehensive-User Friendly Product

Commentaires : Moving out of paper charts was vital to our business success. We can now monitor progress note completion, productivity, expiration dates of required documents, and can pull reports to show outcomes. I'm looking forward to completing our client and staff satisfaction surveys through the Q and A. I'm excited to build Q and As to monitor client progress. I love how client's can sign on the screen so there are fewer forms to manage and upload.

Avantages :

What I like Most: 1. The PIMSY Team-they make implementation/set up so easy. Trainers are very accessible to address issues. 2. I love how you can set up the record to capture the data required for our specific needs and the reports are very useful. 3. Having the Human Resource personnel file in the system makes tracking of trainings, credentials, and insurance network information easy and accessible. The user profile can be created so staff can access certain items in their personnel file which saves time with our limited resource. 4. The patient portal is comprehensive and user-friendly.

Inconvénients :

I wish it can be accessed via a smartphone.

PIMSY is an evolving system to use, it's customer service is second to none

Avantages :

PIMSY is definitely evolving. I like that I can talk to customer service about what is working and what isn't and that development is willing to find fixes to accommodate our wishes. I have only been working with PIMSY and learning the system for about 6 months and their customer service is remarkable. They all take the time to walk you through any issues you have and if they don't have the answer they are sure to get back to you for a followup to resolve the situation.

Inconvénients :

There is a lot more that I wish that PIMSY could do such as a start and stop date/time for separate schedules for clinicians. There is a big learning curve when you start anything new, but at least I have their support team and I can use the chat forum in a time where I can't be on the phone.

Avantages :

The best thing about the product and the vendor is the team that makes up PIMSY. No software is perfect but, PIMSY and its' support staff sure makes great strides towards perfection. I can not say enough of how robust this EMR is and how this software grows as you grow. Our facility probably utilizes probably 10 percent of the software and just that 10 percent alone accommodates a facility of 296 clients, 17 clinicians, and 2 administrative staff members. As small as we are, the staff and the support team always treated us like a large corporation, what more can you say about that except for THANK YOU.

Inconvénients :

What do we like the least about the software is the speed (ie., page transitions) and that PIMSY is only Windows based (ie., must purchase parallel for in order for PIMSY to work on MACs)

Robust, Customizable system, GREAT customer support

Avantages :

The system is very robust with a lot of great features and has ability for customization (done internally or with PIMSY's help). System improvements from the company have made it even easier to use for any level of tech experience. The customer support is outstanding with great response times - they make you feel like one of the team!

Inconvénients :

The way the scanned documents are stored and organized isn't ideal. PIMSY suggested another vendor to work with for a program that can be integrated with the program. This add-on has the ability to OCR documents, search by keyword and other meta data, and has an easier coding process. They also have excellent customer support.

Commentaires : Disclaimer: although I am an employee of PIMSY, I am also a user of the system: we utilize PIMSY for our in-house company management. This means that I interact with the product - and our support department - like any other client. Pros: PIMSY is a great product: it reduces time-consuming tasks to a few button clicks - it keeps our company information organized and integrated - and it keeps all of our data safe & secure on the Cloud, fully HIPAA compliant. One of PIMSY's greatest strengths is the customer service team: they go above and beyond to train and support you. They make sure that you're using PIMSY to its fullest capacity - and they go the extra mile to answers questions, provide high-level support, and address any concerns you might have. Cons: PIMSY is an enterprise-level EHR + practice management software integrated into one system. This means that it's big and can do a LOT - and is therefore not the best fit for small practices (1-5 users). Like any powerful software tool (and any other enterprise-level EHR) PIMSY requires an initial investment of training and set-up before it can be fully calibrated for your practice. This initial learning curve is not the best fit for smaller organizations that typically don't have the volume of data and intricate demands on the system that larger agencies do.

Excellent Software for our business.

Avantages :

When speaking with our rep at the start of the process we had 100% confidence that he understood what we needed and how to tailor the product to fit just for us. He was not trying to sell us what we didn't need. His understanding of the Health Care industry and all sides of the office gave us relief to know his guidance and support were a part of the plan. Each interaction we had from there was excellent. From the IT guys helping us understand what we needed in office to how to bill our first client was handled with patience and professionalism.

Inconvénients :

We are still learning all that PIMSY has to offer and we are looking forward to growing into this program.

Avantages :

It is full-featured - it has all the tools we need to manage records and submit claims electronically, so we don't have to worry about back-ups or paper files. I like the different permissions for different users, the built-in reports, and the document storage.

Inconvénients :

The fact that you can access the same screen/information from multiple places makes it both easy to use and a little cluttered.

Avantages :

very useful in helping with company organization. allows for many reporting options that we find very useful.

Inconvénients :

set up time required is extensive. setting up all clients with diagnosis codes, billing codes, and authorizations requires more time than expected but not over-burdening.

PIMSY is a comprehensive practice management system. It is also a very flexible system. So it does require that the system be set up appropriately to meet your needs. That said, we hold your hand every step of they way. If you sign up for Team PIMSY, we'll do the set up for you. With Team PIMSY you get trained part-time / temporary or ongoing help with PIMSY set up and anything else you need all at a low hourly rate. It's perfect for you if you need to make the switch to a new system but don't have the time or resources to make it happen.

PIMSY is an Excellent EHR Option

Commentaires : When we began searching for an EHR, we wanted one that was logical in its layout and visually easy to navigate. PIMSY really stood out in this area as well as having more features than any other EHR in its price range. We explored many EHR options over the course of a year and confidently selected PIMSY at the end of our vetting process. Integration: PIMSY is very well integrated bringing together the essential modules & components of a diverse practice into one streamlined interface. Our agency researched our options for over a year. After serious deliberation, we chose PIMSY and are very pleased with our choice. I want to emphasize that not only is the product a superior value, but the staff and customer support have been truly outstanding. The company is also committed to constant improvement and they periodically offer software updates based on user feedback. Their willingness to listen to customers' needs and to craft solutions based on that input is a real asset.

Commentaires : I have researched various EHR software over the past two years to manage our small outpatient mental health practice and found various issues with most of them (i.e.., cost, being hostage to a particular Clearinghouse, poor support/ or customer service, unable to customize software to our particular needs, wants, and accreditation requirements) until now. This program appeared to have been created by someone who shared our similar experiences . PIMSY met and exceeded our expectations, flat out they nailed it. It is appropriately priced, with the functions that are needed to manage our practice. If you are looking for a software that will grow as you grow and cater to your business needs, PIMSY is it. The only issue that I had, was with myself. I became overwhelmed with the software at first because of how comprehensive it is but, don't fret. PIMSY will hold your hand every step of the way.

Made my life so much easier!

Commentaires : I am very excited to merge my SAL calendar with my google calendar and would also be interested in accessing the Pimsy program through the web.

Avantages :

This is the first billing system our company has implemeted. Pimsy has really helped facilitate organization and efficiency. We are impressed with the alerts system and have several different alerts in place. It helps the doctor and our therapists track authorizations and notes entry on a timely basis.

Inconvénients :

I am still having trouble routing our electronic payments through the 835 file, but I'm sure once I take some time to toubleshoot, the problem will be quickly resolved.

Avantages :

The vendor is absolutely wonderful. Very hands on and attentive. PIMSY is a wonderful product. I love the way you can personalize the software to fit the needs of your agency.

It's not compatible with Apple products.. I wish it was web based..

What a Find!!!

Commentaires : Pimsy is a great access to our company. This programs gives us the capability of seeing the clients chart without having to get a paper file. Everything is right there at your fingertips, assessments, diagnosis, medication, lab, treatment plans, notes, and much, much more. The support staff is warm, friendly and is willing to work with each and every clients in order to improve the system for your practice.

Commentaires : Like the system and it's flexibility.

Avantages :

Find this system to be flexible and well suited for our service needs. Support has been super. System modifications to meet are needs has been prompt. System functions, filters, reports and data retrieval are super. Conversion from one older less useful system to PIMSY went well and data was converted and downloaded with little difficulty.

Inconvénients :

Learning curve from one system to PIMSY was longer than expected.

What a great all in one program!

Commentaires : I highly reccomend this product. Since being in this industry we have used 4 different programs. For the price this far excedes anything that we have used. The staff are awesome at answering your questions and walking you through any difficulties! There are so many features that we don't even use and they keep adding more!

None that haven't been worked out perfectly!
