Avantages :

The integration with ADP makes it easy to import timesheets. The desktop tool and trend reporting functions are efficient.

Inconvénients :

Using it is just annoying. DMS was a nightmare when we changed (went from reynolds and reynolds), not one person preferred CDK over Reynolds.

Easy to use

Commentaires : East to multi task and has great report generator.

Avantages :

I love that you can switch easily from task to task. When constantly multitasking it makes it easy to move from one item to another.

Inconvénients :

The only concern is you have to pay for any kind of changes that you have to make to forms. It just seems like every little thing is an extra charge.

Great CRM

Avantages :

We had this system for about 3 years. Fantastic CRM tool. We have since switched to a different one and it is garbage compared to Elead. I am begging the bosses to switch us back.

Inconvénients :

I don't have any complaints about the system. Other than, the email templates that were loaded into it, however I don't think that is the products fault.

Most Unethical penny pinching company I have ever used

Commentaires : Over the nearly 30 years with CDK the only feeling I have towards them is regret for sticking with such a horrible company. I hope this helps anyone who is shopping for a quality DMS. Look at AutoMate first, I am not paid by them, actually I pay them, but I just regret not making the switch years ago.

Avantages :

There really isn't anything good to say about this company. Our company has been with them for nearly 30 years and every time the contract comes due they treat us like a new customer. The always try to increase their rates substantially and they will never miss an opportunity to overcharge. They charge top dollar for antiquated software and exploit their customers based on their contracts.

Inconvénients :

CDK is a Con. Their business model feels borderline criminal and was probably easier to execute when Reynolds and CDK were pretty much the only options. Now that there are multiple other options, that are both more cost effective and just overall better products with better customer service I would look elsewhere. There is a reason why the company net value is dropping like a rock.

Nice System Overall

Commentaires : We have been with eLead over 2 years and very happy with how the system has helped us. Look forward to how they continually evolve.

Avantages :

Very easy crm to use. Training is great.

Inconvénients :

Like anything else, need to hold people accountable to input data, cross off tasks, read reports. Lot of little errors and the mobile app is something to be desired.

CDK Global is great for automotive contracting

Commentaires : CDK Global is so much easier to use than the competition. It is packed with features and is user friendly. The Customer Support has been phenomenal.

Avantages :

CDK Global is simple to use. Shortcut codes keep the contracting process streamlined and efficient.

Inconvénients :

The only feature I would like to see improvement on would be the self-help listing of the shortcut codes.

For the money they need to do much, much better

Commentaires : Over the years I have gotten to know a lot of the folks out in Utah, many are still there some are gone. They try, but they need to get out of the building and go out and see how a busy dealership really works. And, most of all they need to make fixes, updates and changes faster. It takes them years to fix simple things. And, they have become GREEDY as hell, they are way too expensive and getting worse. If I could find a more reasonably priced application I will be gone soon.

Avantages :

Back what I was first looking for a complete Marine Dealership package they were the best I found, I have not looked since 2002. Right now I still like their Repair Order module, as well as their Parts handling. I don't personally work much with their Boat Sales module, but I don't get any complaints about it.

Inconvénients :

They have just missed to many little things, and cannot seem to make changes in any kind of decent time frame. They also do not have simple utilities for canceling or editing data. Everything you need to change has a time consuming "Back out" routine, their is no simple "Delete" They do not give the end user enough control over what fields display on the initial screens, and who ever designed the rental module has no clue regarding renting storage space, only things like boats or PWC's.

Horrible Support & Behind The Time

Commentaires : Overall, all of CDK's products are lacking innovation and ease of use. Support is also an extremely huge issue for this company and they will lose clients if they do not start changing they way they do things.

Avantages :

Honestly, there is not much I like about this software. The analytics dashboard is probably the only item I do not have complaints about.

Inconvénients :

The websites are glitchy and slow. The are not very compatible with a mobile layout, the dashboard is not easy to navigate or use to make changes, the support department is terribly slow and unhelpful and he marketing is a joke. We have been paying for display ads that lead to a broken 404 page!! When I brought it to their attention everyone I spoke with had no idea about it. This software is so behind the times and is no where near competitive with the other options, that I cannot wait until GM gives dealers more options so that I can switch.

Commentaires : Reported problems or errors can take you an hour to 7 days to report. After CDK admits and recognizes software error it will take 4 months to eternity to have it corrected

Avantages :

The picture they painted when selling it to me

Inconvénients :

Extremely poor slow support, continued to change and make it harder and harder to contact and the level of support when downhill Did not meet promises made when software was purchased, such as price books for canadian suppliers. That drug on for 5 years until they finally said they were not doing it. If I did not have so much already spent on this software I would switch in a heart beat

Have most everything but limited in innovation

Avantages :

Can be a one stop shop when it comes to everything you might need for dealer software and hardware.

Inconvénients :

They seem to have grown to a size due to their partnership with GM that innovation and quality service is no longer the number one priority. It can be difficult to customize programs and seamlessly move through each step of your processes.

I use this software for car sales and customer tracking. Seems to work well.

Commentaires : Efficient management of sales leads.

Avantages :

I enjoy being able to keep track of my customers and also have alerts on our inventory sent via email and text when a customer requests a specific vehicle.

Inconvénients :

The system seems to have random errors when it comes to saving customer information. For example, I was trying to save a customer who was already in our system. When I selected the customer, a random error prevented me from saving it due to an incorrect entry I couldn't overwrite. Also if a customer is entered as a lost sale, then the system will not allow us to select any records on that customer and we have to create a new lead.

Commentaires : ELead is an essential tool for our dealership. I've worked with many other CRM's for dealers and eLead definitely deliveries what most dealerships need as a CRM tool

Avantages :

Easy to manage and use. Simple interface but is very powerful. It can be as complex as you want

Inconvénients :

Integration with inventory cost sometimes isn't the best

Frisco CDJR - Internet Manager Elead Review

Commentaires : Being newer to the Auto Industry 2 years ago, and realizing how critical Eleads is for every level, whether sales, desking, inventory management, service, prospect searching, and navigation in general has been great. Elead support team from agents to Performance Managers have been immensely helpful in assisting with questions, and resolutions with fast responses.

Avantages :

Having briefly used other CRM software in the past, Eleads has been the easiest to navigate, most detailed, and provides an excellent training program to go over sections of Eleads at your own pace if needed. All feedback from Desk Management and myself have been positive. Reports of all kinds are provided and are something used daily to track performance in a multitude of categories.

Inconvénients :

No dislikes or least liked per se. Any suggestions received have been noted on previous page.

CDK Computer Doesn't Know

Commentaires : I've been using CDK since 1998 when they were ADP. I was using it daily until a couple of months ago as of late I only use it to do inventories.

Avantages :

About the only thing I like about this is creating credit memos but even this process needs some work.

Inconvénients :

Pretty much the software needs a complete overhaul. Every process requires a lot of extra steps. menus are virtually nonexistent and what's there is useless.

Overall Opinion of Elead

Commentaires : So far after over 2 years I have not found it beneficial at all.

Avantages :

I find the software easy to use, but when it comes to adapting to our Business it is not user friendly. When there is an issue the Representative is very quick getting back to us but finding or resolving an issues is nonexistent.

Inconvénients :

It not being user friendly to adapt to our business.

Great CRM but has its fair share of glitches

Commentaires : Great Basic CRM. Email Marketing and OEM Manifest list uploads are difficult and could use some attention. Mobile App needs a major overhaul.

Avantages :

User friendly and easy to use. Support is easy to get a hold of.

Inconvénients :

Mobile app freezes all the time. Emails have been duplicating email signatures for months.

CDK Global

Commentaires : Using CDK Global makes my job so much easier and saves time trying to find information when its needed. Any information I need to know is all stored in one place. Information about each vehicle such as the year, make, model, vin, color, warranty start date, etc. It keeps multiple employees organized and updated on current availability/sold inventory. Also keeps information on the sale of each vehicle such as the customer who purchased it, their contact information and so much more.

Avantages :

CDK keeps track of all new and used inventory. Keeps keep everyone who works for the company aware of what inventory we have and the status of it such as if its available, sold or delivered.

Inconvénients :

The only thing that I would say is a con is some times it glitches and vehicles are duplicated which may be more of a user error. Also once in a while it will say that a new vehicle could not be entered because it already exists when it doesn't. Small cons though for such a useful software.

Avantages :

It is an easy interface to input and manage customer database.

Inconvénients :

Customer data entered into CRM does not always transfer across multiple forms within the CRM. It becomes frustrating while working a deal when information is not consistent and stops work flow. Constantly having to ask IT support to fix issue and it is never resolved.

ELead is a top tier system

Commentaires : Overall they are still one of the best CRM's out there.

Avantages :

Easy to use and find customer information. Also makes it easy to create marketing list. Almost everything you need to track and communicate with customers is easy to get to.

Inconvénients :

Eleads has been great for a long time. Recently they where purchased by another company. Support has declined since the takeover.

Two years with Eleads

Commentaires : It took time to learn but once you learn it it is easy to work with.

Avantages :

Elead has been a lot easier to use than our previous CRM and we have been on it now for years without any real problems.

Inconvénients :

I always hate to learn a new system. The training was not the best.

Industry Fit

Commentaires : We couldn't handle a dealership with daily activities this large without a program like CDK/PFW. When we last upgraded the software and added additional branches we compared to the industry competitor in our brand, and this was over less expensive over the coming 5 years.

Avantages :

The CDK/PFW software is rather good for the Agricultural/Turf dealer. We're using it SAS and uptime is usually pretty good. They have spent time integrating to our OEM manufacturer. That helps. There are many module/features that help monitor and run the dealership, and there are others that while they exist we are not taking advantage of.

Inconvénients :

Their support staff seldom have worked in a dealership and don't understand that day to day frustrations and time constraints we work with. While they are upgrading the software they have chosen to upgrade the user interface screens and our people in all locations don't like the new interface. The functionality is still there, but just not as easy to get to things we're used to, and that takes up more time.

Helpful Performance Managers

Avantages :

Once you are trained, it is easy to navigate. If we ever need help, our performance manager is available and will go beyond what we asked for.

Inconvénients :

Some reports are not accurate if you've been using it for a while. There are recommended ones marked but it can sometimes be confusing. It would be good to clean out the ones we should not use.

A CRM that Sales professionals will actually use

Commentaires : Sales followup and management of the sales cycle have been greatly facilitated by eLead.

Avantages :

ELead has provided excellent customer support with staff familiar with our industry, including onsite support. Flexible configuration enables the CRM tool to facilitate and to measure specific and changing management goals. Custom work flow tasks and ease of use means our front-line sales staff actually use the tool.

Inconvénients :

No major concerns or deficiencies have been experienced with this software.

A powerful tool that performs well and does as it is supposed to do. Can feel antiquated at times.

Commentaires : A great tool to organize and track our customer base, that also lets us reach out to them with efficient tools that tracks interactions and responses very well. Also provides great reporting tools that helps show what is really going on in the business.

Avantages :

Robust, powerful tool that does what it is meant to do, and does it well. Is an excellent tool for all departments within the company and is an integral part of or business.

Inconvénients :

The layout feels antiquated and it can be difficult to find something that you don't usually do. A few features feel like they have a very precise way they need to be done, and if you stray off that path, things will go wrong.
