Avantages :

It only took us 3.5 weeks to get our entire team onboarded and using the program. The open APIs allow us to sync with various sytems including JIRA and even excel sheets.

Inconvénients :

There are a few features that are not available on mobile. However, I work in construction and some of my team works in the field with limited access to a computer.

Effective project management with some areas for improvement

Commentaires : My overall experience with this platform has been positive. It delivers on its promises by delivering effective portfolio, project and resource management, especially for budget-conscious PMOs. The features are comparable to other more expensive options on the market.

Avantages :

What I liked most about this platform is its elegant and easy-to-use interface, along with its many useful functions for project and resource management, but that is why it is especially appreciated how it allows companies to establish roadmaps and balance the supply and demand of resources. Next-generation collaboration with team members is another strength, and automating reporting becomes a simple and effective task.

Inconvénients :

What I liked least about this platform is that it sometimes gets a little slow, which can affect efficiency so I think the stability could be improved as I experienced some minor issues in that regard.

Commentaires : Amazing! The support staff was highly knowledgeable and never pushy, and they didn't burden us with excessive questions to get started.

Avantages :

WorkOtter has been an absolute blessing for me as an Accounts Manager and member of a Marketing project management team. The easy-to-build and configure dashboards have allowed me to create a customized workspace that displays the most crucial information for tracking my projects and resources. I liked the resource management and capacity planning features since that let's me set up and view things through my preferred lens. I get a few extra hours of more work done this way and I'm able to keep my projects better on track. I don't really use the iOS and Android mobile view features, but it's still a nifty little nice-to-have feature to have on the go. I imagine it'll come in pretty handy for responding promptly to any urgent matters (although the software works well enough for me that I don't think I'll have much use for it).

Inconvénients :

Working seamlessly so far so absolutely no complaints. Took some wait time to get things up and running but that was really down to us having to switch over our systems well enough to make sure we're getting the best out of the new one as advised by their team.

Comprehensive project management tool for all project phases

Avantages :

The ability to plan a project to a very detailed or very simple level with all options in between. Very adaptable to the level of planning a particular product needs.

Inconvénients :

Single-currency. For international projects it would be very impactful to be able to see fiscal amounts in currencies used, rather than having to manually calculate outside the systems.

A new way to work.

Commentaires : From the very start I found it easy to get information about pricing options and features. What really ended up selling us on WorkOtter was that they offer a 30-day implementation plan, which is essentially a period in which they help get everything set up for the company and walk you through doing the things you need to do for the business. This was done with very detailed instructions and almost felt like they were ready to hold my hand through the process. I think some of my coworkers really needed it more than I did. Even after that 30-days had ended we found that their support staff were very knowledgeable and helpful when we ran into trouble, even though much of it was just user error on our end.

Avantages :

Everything about the website is easy to view and customize in a number of ways. Even the more advanced features are made easy to use. It can import from some of the older methods you might have been using, such as Excel. In the case of Microsoft projects syncing, it works both ways, so you do not have to immediately make a full switch if you have already been using that as changes will sync between the two in real time. This has been a serious bonus for my team. Attachments can be added to comments, threads, and projects. You can even respond to comments directly through the email notifications and it will show up in WorkOtter. I think we are talking about how this can be implemented for direct correspondences with contractors and customers for my organization but that has yet to be determined.

Inconvénients :

I have not really found any cons I can attribute directly to the website. The change has been a little bit off-putting to some of my coworkers, but since we previously used Microsoft Projects for much of this we have been able to easily sync everything between the old and new methods, so people can transition little at a time and at their own pace for the most part.

Efficient project management in just one place. All inclusive!

Commentaires : With the rapid expansion of our company, we did not want to lose a track of all running projects. Our PM team expanded but there was no PMO, so we had to learn our way around. WorkOtter came in very handy, and it was very easy to start managing projects' portfolio on short notice.Additionally, we were looking for a way to plan resources better.

Avantages :

WorkOtter provides the platform to communicate with peers who are running late on projects. There is a good reporting system for any type of project scope.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes WorkOtter appears to be slow. The app's internal efficiency can be faster as there seems to be lags which can slow down progress.

Commentaires : No surprises and the implementation was as promised..30 days!

Avantages :

The feature I like most is the "sandbox" for my "what if" scenarios... I am able to project in more ways and more accurately with a click and a drag!

Inconvénients :

The software is intuitive but with covid, our team took a little while to get up to speed... Not really the software's fault.

Avantages :

The software is a very good tool for Project Management. Not only you can collaborate easily with team members, it also gives you different options to present the graph and show to members and leaders. My favorite is the Portfolio Planning report. It gives you a report of resource time and the amount they invested for each project. It also convert projects to word, pdf, etc

Inconvénients :

Security feature to be determined. I work for a healthcare company and deals a lot with PHi.

The best new all in one working space and product management space hands down!

Commentaires : They have flexible plans that help users like the "30 day implementation plan" that help setup the software quick and easy, along with expanding licenses and plans they ensure everything is proper with no additonal charges and pressure. Support team is great which made the whole transitioning process into the software so much easier.

Avantages :

I loved the fact that everything is very easily accessible and very easy to navigate. It syncs with microsoft and also very customizable because there are ways to configure and customize display - which is great for people who have very distinct ways of working. The dashboards are easy to configure and you can also share with a team space which is also very easy to have collaborate. There are ways you can view the software on IOS and android. For people who work with serveral portfolios and work with a lot of product management workotter is very very useful. It is heavily stacked with so many features, very accessible and a great great price for all of this.

Inconvénients :

Everything has been great so far. There are many features to get through which may seem overwhelming but just like any platform/tool you get the hang of it and can work your way around it. Especially because you can customize it your own liking. No complaints so far.

Great product for managing projects

Commentaires : I really liked all of the options within each project, especially that you can view so many risk factors and that you can have them presented blatantly on your dashboard. This makes it easy for the people I assign projects too to see they have something due, as well as tells me if I need to intervene. I also really like how much information can be stored into the tool itself, and the ways you can manipulate information and easily export into many different ways is fantastic.

Avantages :

This is a fantastic project management tool. The ease of which you can manage your dashboard so you can see possible risks as soon as you sign in is perfect for making sure all projects run smoothly.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes getting from place to place can be confusing because there are so many options, but this is easily fixed with practice.

Avantages :

The app comes with awesome features like exhaustive project planning tools, portfolio management modules, human resource allocation and collaboration with team members, useful professional reports and charting options and several utilities that make life easier for managers like me. I am fascinated to see how easily I can create a LCM (Life Cycle Model) flowchart and assign tasks to my team members in no time. Moreover I can track performance of my team members vividly and can take adequate actions as and when required. The data is laid out neatly and can be accessed with a few clicks. The datasheets can also easily be downloaded and mailed. In addition any datasheet in Excel or CSV format can directly be uploaded and integrated to the online database without any hassle. But above all I appreciate the clean and easy-to-use interface that makes my job faster and more efficient. The simplified approach ultimately saves me recurring cost, execution time and corporate resources. Just imagine that one can even customize and relocate the columns in the datasheets! I cannot ignore the fact that WorkOtter is affordable and I do not have to spend money like water for the product. In reality a business can reduce managerial cost by a significant limit by using the wonderful cost-effective software! The last but not the least, as the tool utilizes the most contemporary SaaS architecture, I am happy to believe that the app is fully secure and my data is protected.

Inconvénients :

WorkOtter does what it should do serving the objective of a sophisticated project management application and it is difficult to find a loophole in it. However it gives a scope of improvement when the web version and the mobile version are compared closely as a few features are desktop-only and are not available on the mobile version of the app. Nevertheless the mobile app is equally fast and useful. Though I have already praised the UI greatly, it could be better if it could offer users a few color schemes or skin templates to choose from to customize the interface.

User Friendly and very effective PM software

Commentaires : Satisfied to choose WorkOtter as our Project Management software. Developed exactly according to the needs of Project managers. Organizing our tasks were not been as smoother as these are now with the help of this Software. WorkOtter seems like a member of our team which supports us in an incredible way.

Avantages :

WorkOtter has provided us an opportunity to get control over our complex tasks. Organization of tasks is extremely simple in the software. The software is highly user friendly and doesn’t require hours and hours of training to get used to it. Perfect software for scheduling and communication. As a PC I am always updated on the project, it takes few moments to have a check on the activities of my colleagues. Integration of files is easy on to the online database. Easy execution of sharing and uploading files saves time. Assigning taks to members has become so convenient with WorkOtter. 2 way synchronization with JIRA is an additional benefit. The interface is aesthetically designed which is soothing to eyes. The level of customization in the software made me feel empowered and that is what you need as a PC. Lastly, it is affordable and the amount of benefits it entails definitely makes it worthy to use.

Inconvénients :

Until now the software is working pretty fine. There are no major glitches which we have encountered. Initially, some very minor concerns appeared because it was a new software for us however, the more we are using it, we are getting familiar with the software. I think due to its high customization we are unable to find any major drawback so far.

The BEST software for resource management

Commentaires : Our firm started using WorkOtter as we were having a lot of trouble specifically managing internal time and resources and sharing information. WorkOtter has really allowed us to see the big picture with our scheduling and quickly identify phases where we are overallocated. We are now much more efficient and leveling our resources and forecasting, thanks to all of the useful tools and dashboard KPIs we can easily track.

Avantages :

WorkOtter has been a huge game-changer for me with regards to managing resources on multiple complex projects. I am now managing my project teams much more effectively and have been able to forecast much more accurately. I also LOVE the Gantt Charts, much easier to use, make changes, and I'm no longer pulling my hair out like I was with Microsoft Project.

Inconvénients :

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it!

Avantages :

Pros: The WorkOtter interface provided an intuitive project macro overview and more granular detail than I should be allowed. For my dollar, it provides the most intuitive PM Software for staff of all technical skill levels.

Inconvénients :

Cons: I'm slightly annoyed that everyone in the office now wants to get their grubby mitts on my cool new project management software. Otherwise, no complaints so far.

WorkOtter: A Dream come true for every Project Managers

Commentaires : It was a wonderful and satisfying experience with WorkOtter. I must admit there were challenges but their 30 days implementation plan really worked wonder. We were never worried because the support teams were really knowledgeable and were there to support us until we have successfully have deployed the system.

Avantages :

One thing that I really liked about Workotter is the way how we can customize the displays. It gives Project Managers a lot of flexibility to customize the dashboard into his own style. It offers simple and a very easy way on how to create your own custom menu, where you can assign your own categories and reports. This saves a lot of time getting the right information or data that you want. Truly, this is one of the strong assets of Workotter. Another great thing about WorkOtter is their support team. they have answered my queries in the fastest manner and more importantly they are friendly. They have handled all of my queries during the 30 days implementation and so far I am more than satisfied with their support.

Inconvénients :

As per evaluation, so far we are very happy with Workotter. Though, we encountered some challenges setting it up, but all of those are just minor concerns that has been fixed already. The experience so far has been great. They have an amazing support that helps us set our business up and running. We know we made the right choice with Workotter.

Amazing experience!

Avantages :

I dont really have great deal of experience when it comes to sofware as the non-profit I am working for doesnt really need a software implementation however my experience with WorkOtter has been great! I have noticed that it is very easy to use if you have expertise in PM tools on the other had if you are a beginner it is definetely easier to learn than other PM tools I've tried to learn. I genuinely would love to learn how to use Workotter fully as it seems very efficient and effective in desion making process. Easy customizability as well as features that enable users to edit,build their own dashboards and reports and share them with others help projects run flawless and smooth.

Inconvénients :

So far so good! I loved every feature about this software as it is really interactive and very customizable which makes projects more fact-driven.

Commentaires : The 20 years of experience of providing such services is clearly visible. The customer service is second to none and staff are on hand and assigned to help the client immediately to implement their expectations.

Avantages :

I was really ingrained with the new non-static visualisations. They provide a clearer insight into exactly the status of any given projects and its stats. Such a phenomenon greatly helps all stakeholders to make immediate critical business decisions with all relevant data in a motion view instead of static. Another feature I liked the most was the ability to see the resource workload especially in calculating how many hires are needed for each role. Such a tool is invaluable to guide any firm to achieve their future roles plans and even to aid employee performance reviews and incentives.

Inconvénients :

There seems to be a lot of things happening on the tabs which seems quite overwhelming. It suggests the software is complicated and will need an orientation over a few days to get to grip with us. I suggest the overall interface outlook be modified into an app icon like approach as seen with mobile apps.
