I wish it was able to recursively auto-create MOs for subassemblies at lower BOM levels

Commentaires : Overall it is a very good package especially with the BOM. Also what I like is the continuous updating. Also in case of support the response is relatively quick.

Avantages :

Back then, the most important feature was the multilayer BOM. Most competitors were only able to go 1 level deep. Or otherwise the costs would go up significantly. Also for us MRP easy became essential for stock management, purchasing, supplier management. The interface is also very intuitive compared to other softwares

Inconvénients :

During procurement, you have to send a mail, this process can be improved. It opens directly to your mail account, but only a link to the PDF document. I want to attach the PDF. It takes the general contact information, instead of the responsible person of the company. Next to this it messes up the layout of the mail message.

Commentaires : Easy to use, there is room for improvement on the gross profit side

Cannot give correct GP reports based on time management. You cannot modify headings as you want to. serial numbers are only taking per kg

Commentaires : I can't see us using MRP Easy for long, there are other packages available which have been designed with users in mind.

Avantages :

Integration into xero is good. Very good intake done by the sales team. Made by engineers so technically stable. The interface is clunky, but just managable.

Inconvénients :

The support side is as flexible as a wooden door. To have 3 small things done to the layout of invoice and packing list, they charge 23 hours x 150 USD = 3450 USD development work.

Easy to use program. Easy to navigate, all tasks assigned are formed into a logical chain

I have complex products in production. When forming a multi-level production order - parts do not go to the warehouse until the order is closed - it is necessary that the parts appear in the warehouse regardless of the readiness of the MO

MRPeasy has positively changed our processes

Commentaires : MRPeasy has changed our processes massively for the better. We now have ultimate stock control and manufacturing accuracy which was loose before we started with the program. As the site manager I can track costs and inventory saving me huge amounts of time and improving our profit margins by monitoring expences and overheads.

Avantages :

The ability to work with multiple processes in different stages and related multiple items. MRPeasy is user friendly and came out top when we tested compared to other software programs for ease of use.

Inconvénients :

We process products which go through multiple stages of production. Although MRPeasy can do this well, we have to copy the data regularly which can be a little labourious. Packaging is a great function but it is not perfect yet for the way we package and supply finished goods.

An intuitive, visually appealing, and capable ERP system that is truly easy to use!

Inconvénients :

Only downside is that customization is limited as the program is the same for all users. However, with careful planning to accommodate everyone, we've had many successful customization projects with the MRPeasy team.

Inconvénients :

it has no crm that enables communicating directly with customers. it would be good if we can integrate third part crm for example hubspot. Would also like there to be an approval system for customers or suppliers.

Commentaires : Im very happy with MRP, I would just like if the price was a little bit lower in my opinion. But overall it is worth it in the long term. Since this software will help me alot.

Avantages :

I really like that the software is very complex and have alot of functions. Functions I didn't think I needed but really want to use now. It is very quick to use and find items etc. I love that I can have control of basically everything.

Inconvénients :

The problem I have is that it takes a while for me to set my inventory up with MRP, but thats most likely because I have not had a great stock control earlier and I have choosen to convert alot of products to BOM in order to have full control of the products cost, time to make and stock for each part.

No fancy user interface and quite expensive but highly customizable and gets the job done.

Commentaires : MRPeasy was already partially implemented when I joined the company, and I did not have any previous experience with MRP systems when I joined. I initially thought that it was not the most user friendly system. It looks very "old school". We have been trying a few different systems, exact because our finace department uses exact, and we also gave odoo a try to perhaps move to more of a ERP system. However I felt that both exact and odoo was inferior to MRP easy, BUT, for the functionality that MRP easy offer I do feel that you charge a very high price for it. We pay 79 per user simply for a MRP system when for instance Odoo charges 39 for a ERP solution. We will definitely move away from MRP easy in the future, when we grow our manufacturing team, if you do not change this. I want my employees to be able to use functions like bar code scanning on their tablets without having to pay enterprise / professional subscriptions for them as well.

Avantages :

I like that it is quite easy to customize the views, (once you have learned how to do it). The amount of customizable options are also very good compared to some other programs.

Inconvénients :

I do feel that sometimes it is not completely logical to me where to find the settings, the way you have decided to put some settings under enterprise, some settings under professional etc makes it hard to find what I am looking for.

A software aptly named

Commentaires : It helps us to formalize BOMs, routings and manage stock.

Avantages :

It is full Saas and needs no hardware. It is easy to handle and easy too use.

Inconvénients :

I would expect a Manufaturing Order per BOM level and not a multi-level MO while processing an order. It could be important to trace each steps of the process (BOM) with a different MO.

Robust Features but Poor UX and Limited Integrations

Avantages :

I've found that MRPEasy offers a wide range of functionalities that meet my various needs. The customer support team has been quick to respond and effective in resolving my issues whenever I've needed assistance. Additionally, I appreciate that MRPEasy provides a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality.

Inconvénients :

However, I find the interface unintuitive (really bad UX, like an app developed 15 years ago), making the app frustrating to use. For example, actions that should take one click often require three, which slows us down. At times, the technical support hasn't been as helpful as I'd hoped, leaving some of my problems unresolved. There aren't enough integrations, and it makes it challenging for me to connect and extend the app’s features. Moreover, basic integrations, like with Google Drive, are limited and don't allow me to select specific save folders, which reduces flexibility and efficiency for our workflow.

Commentaires : Extremely good. We started with MRPEasy when they were still building out the product. We offered lots of insights and they used many of our suggestions in their final design. Now we use it every hour of every day.

Linking with our accounting system has been problematic and decided not to use it. However, I am confident that, with the right guidance from MRPEasy's support team, it can be done.

Great supply chain cost effective and easy to use tool

Outrageous price increase

Commentaires : It takes at least a few weeks to input all of the necessary data and just as you get used to using it all/keeping records of material orders/PO etc, they hit you with a 30% price increase, off the back of sending an email to say "we've listened, now billing is even better and you don't pay for additional users". Clearly they've listened to their multi-national corporate outfits and trod on the small businesses. For transparency, we paid $130. Now being quoted $199, despite removing the cost for additional users. Seriously poor care for their users. We've just secured two major contracts with national retailers and had every intention of using the services for many years to come. I'm now looking elsewhere and would like to advise any potential new customer - be sure you're in it for the long run, because inputting all the date over and over again isn't convenient and if you can't find the time, you're stuck with their ridiculous price increases.

Avantages :

The system is great - in theory, but you have to be committed to inputting everything perfectly before it works as you need it to.

Inconvénients :

Takes a long, long time to set everything up. Not perfect unless you pay even more for other tools.

MRPeasy is easy to setup and use, clean uncluttered interface with all the essential functions necessary to manage manufacturing and inventory. After several years using it we value how solid this system is.

Dashboard and reporting can be improved and some interface settings to visually highlight some stock items or inventory groups.

Commentaires : Although we are moving slowly with importing all necessary data so we can start operating the programme, our company is very satisfied with your product for the time being.

Avantages :

MRPeasy is simple and easy to use while having all needed features for a small manufacturing like ours.

Inconvénients :

Invoices can not be printed in Cyrillic. We faced some issues while importing tables with Cyrillic content, although all steps were adhered strictly. The programme produce long part numbers itself, which are rather confusing.

There are a lot of options and ways you can costumize to your needs.

Inconvénients :

Not the best interface. For not tech savvy people its hard to understand. Little to techincal and "Excel" like interface. Hard to set up for manufacturer with lot of operations and outsourcing. Too many "clicks" for simple functions.

Good software and support

Commentaires : MRPeasy has been a great way for us to transitioning to MRP. We've formalised our item and BOM structures, improved our production planning and made our operational purchasing more robust with this software. Overall we are happy with the product.

Avantages :

The interface is slick and modern. No issues with the software being slow. The program is intuitive and can be picked up easily. There is a surprising amount of functionality. The Junior MRP easily supports multi level BOMs, different production resources, customisable fields on items, adding images etc to items. Stocked and non-stocked items are supported, as are indivisible items (I've seen some much larger systems that don't support this). Safety stock levels can be easily set and maintained, allowing for simple planning. The inventory system allows a fair amount of freedom to define stock locations as needed. The purchasing system works fine, allowing easy tracking of what is on order. I'd say something similar for the Customer order interface -customer orders can be input easily, documents such as proforma or commercial invoices can be defined. We've definitely appreciated the customer support we've received. Answers come back within 24 hours and though not everything can always be changed, the answers are helpful. On more than one occasion I've provided feedback on certain screens and have had the response come back that yes, that sounds like a good change to make and we'll release that change in a week or so. We've found this super helpful and haven't seen that from too many other software companies.

Inconvénients :

There is not too much here, but the main bugbear for us is the work orders. Our BOMs have multiple levels and we would expect that MRP would spit out individual work orders for each operation that needs to be done. Instead, a single work order comes out, which can be worked on by different resources, but when a production process can take several weeks that means things like WIP become hard to manage. So we have to either accept this and make that work or split our work orders down, which makes production planning more manual.
