Complete package for marketing tool

Avantages :

We received a complete software package consisting of at least forty diverse modules, which would have cost thousands of bucks. Due to this software, we have ended a profusion of subscriptions. We contacted support with a simple message and got a response nearly immediately.

Inconvénients :

It costs a lot of money to buy more email space. Suppose there was a way to lower the cost of sending emails. Arranging a batch job to perform a sequence or automation at a predetermined time and day

Perfect for small businesses

Commentaires : Pretty satisfied. Good solution at this price (free :-) (I use only the help desk module for now).

Avantages :

It's very modular. You can use just the required feature without paying for extra modules. This means that it can be adapted to any business. For example, in my business, I only need the help desk feature for now, which is free, by the way! It's nice to know that I can add the marketing module if one day I decide to do some email marketing automation.

Inconvénients :

I have no complains so far, and I have been using it for 2 years.

Absolutely horrible!!

Commentaires : I've setup a "Sequence" with 3 emails to be sent before holding my Webinar and thought everything was ok and went on. Just to come back on the day of the Webinar to see that nothing was sent and every contact was hard bounced. Yes every single one of them.
Furthermore I couldn't send any email broadcasts to the contacts either. So mainly I was left with leads for my Webinar which I couldn't even use, were it up to Engagebay.
The support team's solution? Purchase credits to "verify the contacts" to be able to use them.
So besides making me lose my time, not delivering the emails and rendering all my contacts useless they want me to purchase something for it to actually work??
Absolutely disgusting and shameful business practices! They then tell me that the problem is not on their end and insist that every contact has an invalid email address. With another similar service I sent the emails with ease. Out of all the contacts, only 4 bounced.
Engagebay has set me back a lot with this.
Avoid at all costs!

Avantages :

At first I liked what it offered for the free plan (things that other similar services didn't offer for free).

Inconvénients :

It doesn't work at all and the support team asks you to purchase credits for it to work.

Hi there, sorry to know about your experience with EngageBay. Just to bring to your notice, a hard bounce happens only when the email address is invalid. It looks like that is the case here. If the email address is invalid, there is nothing we can do from our end to avoid a hard bounce. To prevent such cases, we recommend all our users to verify all the emails they have on the list. Please note that we do not provide email verifier service ourselves and hence recommend other 3rd party solutions. Seems like the other service you used has a built in validation service and hence the bounces were limited. I would recommend you to send an email to [email protected] including the registered email address for your account and we can check what may have caused the bounces, though we are certain that it was due to the emails being invalid, we could always cross check.

Good for a beginning company!

Commentaires : As an up and coming company we needed a CRM and EngageBay offers one with great customer service at a cost that is reasonable with more than just one feature available. No more are the days of a million spreadsheets!

Avantages :

Customer service is amazing! To do tasks help me stay on top of deals and leads. Cost is reasonable and customizable!

Inconvénients :

Stats can be difficult to analyze for marketing campaigns. Templates could use more design for marketing campaigns. Difficulty with organizing leads/companies, but there are enough work arounds that it is functional.

Pros and cons of EngageBay

Commentaires : Overall experience was quite good with EngageBay as it helped us with the tool that we needed for the priority basis other than average customer support everything was worth to chose EngageBay

Avantages :

There were 2 main features because of what we chose EngageBay over other CRMs i.e email marketing (bulk email management tool) and ticketing system (mainly for IT infrastructure issues).EngageBay was quite handy and smooth to operate in both of these features that fulfilled our current requirements.

Inconvénients :

The only con that we as a team experienced was the customer support was not that reliable as at times we were getting late responses from customer support team and taking more time as expected to resolve the issue.

All in one Sales & Marketing Solution

Commentaires : Taking our manual sales and marketing process and replicating it in Engagebay has reduced the amount of missed opportunities

We found setting Engagebay up to be very straight forward. Customizing it and importing data is relatively easy and integration with our other systems was quick.

Inconvénients :

So far we do not have anything we dislike.

Customer Service is great

Avantages :

The best feature is their customer service. They have been incredibly quick to respond and assist on everything we've needed. There are plenty of CRM's that have what we need, but none that are as quick to help us actually do it.

Missing some small features but they are open to receiving feedback on what is needed.

Commentaires : I've taken a lot out of my head. I can find things when I need them. I think it will make it much easier to employ someone because everything will be accessible to them too, rather than them having to ask me questions. I got EngageBay for automation but it offers so much more.

Avantages :

I was looking for a product that included automated marketing emails and EngageBay does that. I've been so impressed with other parts of EngageBay that I didn't initially expect to use. I wouldn't want to do without it now. It helps me keep track of every interaction I have with others from prospects to ongoing clients. I love that it includes social media scheduling too. I haven't used it yet because I'm so busy. There is no other product that offers what it does for the price.

Inconvénients :

I thought I couldn't work it out (because I couldn't find the support tutorials) but the customer support team was really helpful and in the end I learnt very quickly.I don't use the calendar managment because I think there are better options out there (free too).

Commentaires : I tried severall solutions like Hubspot. UX is simply the best and pricing is very good compared to Hubspot (much to expensive)

Easy to use, maybe in future a more "modern" design of the backend? But allround absolutly the best on the market

Sophisticated Software

Commentaires : We run a number of businesses and use Engagebay for some of our clients. If you need to sort contacts, pick them out based on certain factors and send individual or broadcast emails and/or put them through a pipeline, this is for you. You know you need Engagebay when you're trying to organise your contacts by tags and have so many you're going mad.

Avantages :

How you can really drill down into sorting contacts. It's almost like have a spreadsheet to organise different contacts. We use it for sending individual booking emails alongside broadcast emails. We searched for ages for software that could combine a sophisticated CRM/contact management system alongside email and newsletters - this is the best on the market. The other thing we love is the customer response - there's a chat service and usually someone is on there within minutes of a request and they stick with you until it's fixed. Best on the market - and certainly at this price.

Inconvénients :

The training manuals could be improved - that said, they are always happy and prompt to help - but some of my queries could are general and could have been covered in a manual/video.

I also tried other products before I arrived at Engagebay but although they initially said they could do what I needed, after weeks of frustrating try outs - they didn't - and the support hadn't really listened to what I'd said I needed - Engagebay listened to what I actually needed before I got started and it did what they said.

Very Very Good All in CRM and Marketing platform and Super Service!

Commentaires : Until now, I have nothing to complain. It is really great to work with the software and the support desk. Hints on new functionality are taken seriously and you will get feedback if it is integrated or not.

Avantages :

The software is fantastic, but even better is the customer service. When integrating CRM, it makes a company very dependent on a platform as it is not easy to migrate to another and it will take weeks to adjust all settings to what you like. But I can say, if this is the direction Engagebay is going (as far as I see now) then I will be on board for many years to come!

Inconvénients :

You have to buy email credits, which I understand in some way, they have also costs to send mails. You have to warm up you mail account. But what Engagebay did very well is integrate mail services from for example Amazon and others. It is some work to set it up, youtube is your friend.

Pourquoi choisir EngageBay CRM : I was client from The Netherlands, but I experienced the worst support ever. Arrogance, already in the beginning [sensitive content hidden] was only interested in big clients, not the ones with 1 or 2 licences. I tried to get my account supported to USA, as they seem much better and more client friendly, but catsone.nl is an agent, who acts like he is the founder of the software. In real life he is just a dj in mini disco's who got the rights to be agent for catsone.com. Be aware.. software is good, but has really little functionality and if you ever need support, run away! ;)

Pourquoi passer à EngageBay CRM : Many platforms I have looked at. But integrations are mostly not as good, or the price is insanely high. Think about Hubspot. If you want to get broke, go there ;) Active Campaign is a great platform too, but limits users or you have to pay a lot more. The price and quality relation for Engagebay is the best!

Commentaires : I am very satisfied with EngageBay, I see my company as advanced user of EB, when we got stuck with something, they are always ready to listen and enhance the tool to achieve the desided feature and make the tool even better!

Webinar features, landing pages does not support reusable headers and footers, no option to build own templates. Missing Social Software Analytics

Thanks for the review Marcello. Our landing pages can now support reusable headers and footers. We have developed this feature and it is currently in QA and should go live in a couple of days. We already have the feature to build new landing templates from scratch. You can also code your own ones too. Please check it out and we would glad to help if needed.

Commentaires : Software is overall nice some features are missing and some on the current ones are limited but overall its very easy to use and hope to see where the software goes to into the future

Avantages :

The software is nice to use some features are pretty self-explanatory, but there are some features that are missing maybe adding like a module based system where you are able to create and customize modules to your liking, which our previous CRM system was able to do wish there was a function like so.

Inconvénients :

Some features are missing, or are under development but the current ones available are fine for now but as the industry grows your CRM should be able to adapt otherwise it's not good

Engagebay has been a great solution for us

Commentaires : Engagebay has been great, especially the customer support.

Avantages :

Engagebay is far less expensive than Hubspot, but with most (if not all) the important features. This was very important for us as a small business. We use so many of the CRM functions, from creating marketing funnels, to email automations, tagging, tracking, appointment setting with our sales team, and many others.

Inconvénients :

There are parts that are slightly clunky (like email sequences), but nothing too bad.

Great alternative to HubSpot

Commentaires : Way less expensive than HubSpot which we were recommended to use and is overly complex and costly. This has become a centrepiece of our software and we are considering white-labelling it for our own client's use.

Avantages :

One place to track all leads and their communication. Easy integration with Twilio for voice and SMS and provides for 2-way texting (many others don't). Great sales pipeline tracking and easy-to-send campaigns.

Inconvénients :

Reports could bebetter. In particular, we're unable to determine who are the most active contacts ie. times they have viewed or opened an email, responded to texts, clicked on a CTA, called us. This would help us target the most likely prospects. Instead, we do this somewhat manually.

Commentaires : so far my experience with engagebay has been excellent.

Avantages :

it is very close to what I am used to, the support has been incredibly helpful. It was super easy to set up pretty much plug and play and you are away. I am only 2 weeks into using this app but so far I'm really happy with it.

Inconvénients :

The text messaging in automation has been problematic during the set up phase but the support has been excellent and have helped me with it. Hopefully in the future once I get used to using the platform i can set up the automations with the messages working straight away.

Good Product , Customer service and Cost

Avantages :

The platforms has a lot of features (we are mostly using the marketing side of it). Their customer support is quick to respond, open to suggestions and tries implementing fixes and new features asap. Once you get used to using it, building landing pages is smooth and quick.

Inconvénients :

Automating posting on socials (e.g. LinkedIn) didn't work very well for us. Some features could be better documented/explained (e.g. custom fields and connection to forms & filtering, email reporting), so that you don't need to contact their customer service. On the positive side, the customer service is very responsive so most questions get answered quite quickly.

Commentaires : It has saved our marketing team a lot of trouble. Before we began utilizing this product, we were battling to stay aware of every one of the various parts of our missions. It was chaos because we had multiple systems for managing our contacts, sending emails, and posting on social media.But everything changed once we started using EngageBay. We were able to consolidate all of our marketing efforts onto a single platform, which greatly simplified the process. We were able to track all of our contacts and their interactions with our brand thanks to the CRM system, which allowed us to personalize our messaging and improve their experience.Additionally, the email marketing software was excellent. We were able to create emails that our audience enjoyed reading and found beautiful and engaging. We were also able to set up campaigns that ran on their own thanks to the automation features, which saved us a lot of time.We were able to create custom pages that really showcased our brand thanks to the ease of use of the landing page builder. We were also able to post on multiple platforms and monitor engagement from a single location thanks to the social media management feature.In general, EngageBay has revolutionized our marketing efforts. We have experienced an increase in engagement as well as conversions, and we have been able to streamline our procedures, allowing us to concentrate on what really matters, which is producing excellent content and interacting with our audience.

Avantages :

It turned out to be a pleasant surprise that I enjoyed using this marketing software as much as I did at first. One of the champion highlights for me was the CRM framework, which permitted me to deal with all of my client associations in a single spot. It was like having a personal assistant who was always on time and never complained. The email marketing software that EngageBay offers is yet another great feature that saved my life. I was able to create engaging personalized email campaigns, and I even received a few compliments from clients. Who realize that I had a mysterious ability for email showcasing? Another useful tool was the landing page builder, which made it simple to create pages that looked professional and were appealing to the eye. I even had the ability to use some of the design templates to appear to be an expert in graphic design!The virtual entertainment the executives include was one more feature for me. I didn't have to check our social media pages constantly to schedule posts and interact with our followers. I even wound up making up for lost time with a couple of images during my mid-day break, which most certainly lit up my day.My overall interaction with EngageBay was positive. It has made my work life significantly simpler, and I have even acquired a few new abilities en route. Who knew marketing could be so entertaining? I might remain to see what else I can learn!

There were many things about this marketing software that I liked, but there were also a few things that made me wonder. First and foremost, while the CRM system was impressive, it occasionally grew a little too attached. Even though I appreciate the reminders, it sometimes felt like it was trying to control every move I made.Although the email marketing software was excellent, it occasionally had its own mind. I would go through hours making the ideal email crusade, just to have it denounce any kind of authority and convey something else entirely. It seemed as though the software had its own ideas about what our customers wanted to hear, and sometimes those ideas didn't match mine.Although the landing page builder was simple to use, there were some restrictions. I found that I wished for more design options and more customization options. It was like attempting to design a room with a couple of household items - it worked, yet it wasn't the very thing I had as a top priority.Lastly, although the social media management feature was cool, there were times when it felt like shouting into the void. I would post something I thought was funny, only to get nothing back. It was similar to standing on a street corner and trying to catch people's attention, which is not exactly the most efficient strategy.EngageBay was still a useful tool that helped me streamline my marketing efforts and connect with our customers despite these flaws. It had its ups and downs.

The Best All-in-One Budget Friendly CRM Out There!

Commentaires : Overall, the tool has served our needs. Anytime I need to get help with something I don't understand or feel isn't working properly I can almost always get customer service help immediately through chat. They are always helpful and polite.

After having used several other CRM tools (Infusionsoft, HubSpot, and Insightly) investing in EngageBay was a no brainer to me. Why? It offers all of the "things" that most businesses need such as a robust CRM, Sales Pipeline, Email Automation, Calendar Tool, Email Marketing and MORE. I was paying so much more for all of these features with the other companies and wasn't using everything. It was a massive investment that just did not make sense. EngageBay makes sense.

Inconvénients :

There are a couple things that I enjoyed having access to in Hubspot that EngageBay does not do well, yet. Having the ability to customize my proposals would be a game changer. Currently, it's very limited in how you can pull this off in the proposals feature. I would also appreciate a more customizable calendar feature.

We're pleased we made the change to EngageBay

Commentaires : Positive experience. We moved from using multiple platforms for email, sales etc to this one. It worked out a lot cheaper doing this, but also we're more streamlined working across the different teams.

Avantages :

It has a lot to offer, from using it to manage sales, to social scheduling to sending email campaigns and reporting. It is a one-stop-shop for all your needs. I can also see that they're constantly working to improve it and add more features which is fab. Their customer service via the chat box is great too, you never have to wait for support, there is always someone on hand.

Inconvénients :

There are some aspects that I struggle with a little bit, such as not being able to check the personalization on an email campaign prior to sending it. The social scheduling side has been a little clunky for me too.

Commentaires : It's straightforward to use, and the best thing is with larger functioning software's there needs to be strong support, and they have that well setup. You can easily get in contact with their help desk to quickly have answers to any of your needs.

Avantages :

Engagebay has the most comprehensive suite of features for marketing without the associated costs you incur for other tools out there. I first was looking at marketing software that could encompass a lot of the needed aspects to support our and our clients campaigns, and was pleasantly surprised at the breadth of tools available within Engagbay. They cover both marketing and sales as well which created needed synergy.

Inconvénients :

The only thing that comes to mind right now is the automations that can be created sit in silos in marketing or sales... they have different functionality, but I've found myself looking in marketing for a sales automation and vice versa. I understand the need for the separation, but one automation location with a way to filter and separate marketing vs sales would be helpful.
