Coil and contact association is automatically created next to the rung to improve readability. Backwards compatible with previous versions of AutoCAD. Import/Export from PDF or to other software is carried out with a good degree of fidelity. Interoperability of Autodesk Inventor allows seamless ECAD/MCAD integration for automated machine design. > > **Inconvénients**: Does not simulate industrial control panels (i.e. what happens when a fuse blows or a field input device changes states). This functionality is available in lower-priced software. Some functions used in basic AutoCAD do not work in AutoCAD Electrical. For example, a block for a VFD or timer relay often requires a significant amount of modification to fix wiring/connection issues.
