Excellent software built by smart team who knows their customers well

Commentaires : I have been a user of Detrack since 2012 and recently, we've intensified the use of it as we ramp up our business to add more drivers and delivery routes. Detrack make it possible for us to scale up 50X. We couldn't have managed to do it without some sort of smart software. Best of all, the customer support is top-notch! Every time I have issues, they reply extremely fast AND more importantly, with a solution! Keep up the good work team!

Avantages :

Easy to set up and use for both the route planner and the delivery drivers. All the functions work perfectly and seamlessly. They are customisable too. Dashboard and all the tools are user-friendly.

Inconvénients :

Direct and seamless integration with e-commerce platform such as Shopify would be amazing to implement. It can currently be done using Zapier, but not the easiest to set up and it doesn't work seamlessly, so we're still reverting to manual Excel uploads for now.

Detrack use as a proof of collection review

Commentaires : It's a nice little system, cost effective but has limitations which we are finding are more and more restrictive as our business grows. We use Detrack for our waste management company (proof of collection), so I feel we miss out on a lot of the POD functionality. I think there is real scope to develop the system further for collectors with regular customers.

Avantages :

It is very cost effective, easily to add users and the interface is easy to use for drivers and managers.

Inconvénients :

No backward and forward integration with Xero - need the ability to bill regular customers for the total number of jobs completed for them over a period (ie a month). Abilities to manage regular customer schedules within the system (rather than uploading from a spreadsheet). No ability to add photos to each job for the drivers to see. No ability to add set items/descriptions with pricing for each item and regular customer. Reporting functionality is very basic. More can be gathered from exporting data to Excel.

Commentaires : customer service is fast, but they seem to be inexperienced with food catering app or business because there are key items missing such as organizing the orders, they will not sort by date or time.

Avantages :

its basic but either the price needs to go down or the features that are available need an overhaul. not more features, but the features need to be updated.

Inconvénients :

method of data entry, app is bloated with too many "confirmations", "live" tracking is off, nothing gets sorted by date or by time so drivers are always confused. have to manually let drivers know which order is first on the list.

Simple App & Manual (used to be). drivers are accustomed to the app feature very quickly, and i like the previous manual/ documentation. straight to the point, i can see whats available. but now the manual list is not easy to find.

Inconvénients :

- the customer service experience is bad. since detrack outsourced it, the response is slow and they do not know technical and acted like messengers only. "I'll check with the technical team" is a common answer, and long wait time makes it worse. but this problem is prevalent for a larger corporation. meaning it'll only get worse through time. - rising prices.

Could Work Better for Trades

Commentaires : I like the ability to customize the fields, but further configuration would make this a great choice for other trades-related businesses (plumber, locksmith, electrician, etc).

Avantages :

The customer always is updated about our status.

Inconvénients :

It's not very customizable. I don't need the Pickup and Delivery tabs. We are not a delivery service. We are a trades company and use this to schedule and inform our customer where we are. This could be customized to service businesses and it would be a great feature for the other trades.

Great Product, easy to use and great price

Commentaires : Great service, they reply to any question very quickly.

Avantages :

Easy to use, very intuitive, extremely easy to train a new driver.

Inconvénients :

When you send a pre delivery text, the time that Detrack provides is soo far off. In some cases, we are 10 minutes away and Detrack has it at 3 hours. We then edit that text every time.

We have integrated it partly with our CRM system so can load it directly. Its quick effective and efficient.

Inconvénients :

Need a full integration solution woth Odoo so we dont have to do the deliveries manually. Also the dashbpard can be a tadge clunky,

Tracking deliveries and creating routes for drivers. Updating drivers trips in real time and tracking drivers progress

Inconvénients :

that you cannot do vehicle inspection reports and also map high-risk areas.

Good but needs some improvements

Commentaires : For the price it's good. Love the help on onboarding so far.

Avantages :

Easy setup. Responsive and helpful onboarding team. Affordable to start with a small fleet.

Inconvénients :

Collection is a secondary feature as compared to Delivery. Makes things confusing sometimes. Reports formatting don't quite make sense. The 2 week trial is not enough to onboard anything so have to pay to setup.

DeTrack for the Win

Commentaires : Overall very happy. The options we added have greatly enhanced our delivery and pickup overview.

Avantages :

Proof of Delivery, Ease of adding jobs.

Inconvénients :

Should be able to arrange jobs on screen for order you wish delivered. Drag to position. Should have the option to see both pickup and delivery at same time. Should be able to permanently update client without having to go to accounts. Add phone or specific detail.

Perfect for Entertainment Logistics Management

Commentaires : Detrack has everything you could need for logistics management. Simple driver management, easily schedule multiple deliveries & collections between multiple drivers. Update schedules and driving routes whilst drivers are out in the field. Accurate ETAs and much more. It's hard to find any fault with this app, especially based on it's pricing model too.

Avantages :

The interface across both desktop and mobile is easy to use. It's helped us to simplify and streamline our logistics management within our business. Being able to update our drivers with information whilst they're out on the go from one centralised platform is brilliant. It's also helped us to continue with our digital first scheme to reduce delivery paperwork and overall printing.

Inconvénients :

It would be great to have the ability to allow drivers to view tomorrow's schedule the day before, but this by no means detracts from the outstanding feature set and development that has already been put into this application.

Easy and Efficient Migration from Paper Based

Commentaires : My experience with Detrack has so far only been positive. We are saving time on preparing dispatch data, instant POD delivery to customers, and easily retrieved pas POD's to satisfy customer enquiries on deliveries. Also very handy to see where my driver is at any time of the day!

Avantages :

We are only a small one vehicle operation, but this software allowed us to move from a paper based delivery model to electronic sign on glass technology without too much fuss. There are more features to the software that we currently need, but the ones we do need are there and with a bit of help from the marvelous support folk at Detrack, we were up and running within a couple of hours. Integrating into our WMS was also a fairly painless exercise by our external IT support team. I have recommended it another of our 3rd party carriers, and even one of our clients, and they have also adopted it with no problems.

Inconvénients :

Nothing really to complain about with the software, although if I were being pedantic, a little more precise Help information on setting up notifications perhaps?

The user interface is easy to navigate. The ability to not only capture signatures and photos but to be able to set those as a requirement to complete the delivery is VERY useful.
