Kofax Power PDF

Avantages :

En tant que chargé de communication, ce logiciel me facilite beaucoup la tâche en terme de gestion de documents PDF. Je trouve Kofax Power PDF meilleur logiciel de manipulation de doc pdf suite à plusieurs analyse de mon expérience. Non seulement, il est simple pour utilisation, mais aussi, il me permet de convertir en quelques clics les fichiers de PDF vers autres formats vice-versa, de fusionner plusieurs fichiers en un document, d'annoter et de sécuriser mes fichiers.

Inconvénients :

Depuis longtemps que je suis familiarisé avec Kofax Power PDF, je n'ai pas encore eu de déception.

Commentaires : Un produit que je peux dire exceptionnel . Je peux faire tellement de choses avec ce logiciel. Je suis très heureux de l’avoir tous les jours afin de gérer mes taches. Tous les jours, je l’utilise pour mes tâches, petites ou grandes. C’est mon principal lecteur PDF.

Avantages :

Je trouve que le logiciel est complet dans l'édition et la remise en forme de fichiers PDF et son utilisation me fait gagner un temps considérable dans mes divers taches tous les jours.

Inconvénients :

parfois des difficultés afin de modifier le texte ou pas possible du tout c'est dommage pour un logiciel payant

les points forts du logiciel sont la simplicité d'utilisation et l'interface très agréable et fluide

Inconvénients :

le gros point faible est son cout. D'autres logiciels permettent gratuitement une bonne partie des fonctionnalités comme ILovePDF.

Simple et efficace

Commentaires : Belle découverte de ce logiciel qui facilite la vie pour un prix raisonnable (80€ quand je l'ai acheté) pour une licence individuelle perpétuelle. Possibilité de le supprimer d'un PC pour l'installer sur un autre.
Moins puissant cependant que certains de ces concurrents.

Logiciel simple à utiliser - pratique pour assembler des pdf, réduire leur taille significativement, modifier du texte

Inconvénients :

L'OCR est perfectible - parfois compliqué ou pas possible de modifier du texte

Overall a great product. Easy to use and great support.

Inconvénients :

The text editor. It needs to be more flexible and the text box needs to be smaller. Preferably expand as the user types instead of starting out across the whole page.

Avantages :

Especially now that I try to keep everything electronically instead of on paper, it makes the scanning and conversion process very easy.

Inconvénients :

On occasion, the Reduce function makes the image extremely blurry and illegible. But this is generally rare.

Lousy software that our company switched to for cost savings

Commentaires : See above. It crashes a lot which wastes my time.

Avantages :

I don't like Kofax. It's fine as a reader, but for anything else I definitely prefer other applications.

Inconvénients :

I don't like Kofax at all. It crashes all the time which wastes so much of my time. When we first got it in 2001 it crashed so much that it was totally unusable and really messed up our work flow. Our IT team spent a lot of time (like weeks) trying to get it to work. One of the people on our team spent her own money to just buy Adobe Acrobat so she wouldn't have the headache of dealing with Kofax. Kofax functions now, but it still crashes a lot during edits. The adding pages feature really sucks and I have to do the steps very specifically or else it crashes, and I save after each step when adding pages and redoing the page numbers to avoid loosing the work I've already done. Weird things also happen if you remove a page and try to renumber. The page numbering function needs a lot of improvement.

Kofax cheaper alternative to Adobe Acrobat

Commentaires : The experience is good, but I miss Adobe Acrobat Pro

Avantages :

No annual subscriptions! No annual subscriptions! No annual subscriptions! I started with this software (version 3) because it came free with my Epson scanner Then I upgraded to the version 5. It does the job.

Inconvénients :

It is not the same as Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Acrobat is easier in several vital functions (like merging documents). Also, Kofax is slow to load when viewing only a document.

Avantages :

Creating one file from both together: PDF files and JPG files

Inconvénients :

Finding recently opened files, e.g. from my downloads. Kofax does not have them in its list.

An Essential Tool for anyone in business

Commentaires : I have used Power PDF for more than 10 years and have found it to be a completely essential part of my daily work. I have it on my computer at work and also at home and I could not live without it.

Avantages :

The versatility of this product exceeds anything else available today.

Inconvénients :

I would like to be able to add pictures or other objects more easily. However, this IS possible and hasn't kept me from using Power PDF in this way.

Excellent Non-Cloud Product!

Commentaires : A fantastic alternative to Adobe. Even better if you don't want to move to the cloud.

Avantages :

I like that it is NOT cloud based. I prefer to use it on my own computer and network.

Inconvénients :

There are some tune-ups that are needed like the highlighting feature. But, overall, excellent!

Kofax Power PDF, a prefered PDF Editor

Avantages :

I have found that Kofax Power PDF is extremely easy to use and less intrusive than other PDF editing programs.

Inconvénients :

I have not yet found anything I do not like.

Commentaires : I am very happy with Power PDF, it has met all my needs without getting a message that to do anything it will cost additional money as the default PDF reader does.

Avantages :

Power PDF is easy to use, fill out documents, combine documents and everything else.

Inconvénients :

It could use some more drawing tools and the ability to highlight multiple items without selecting to highlight every time.

I use this software to redact documents that are being filed with courts. It is super simple and quick to use

Great Product, Very Useful!

Commentaires : I do a lot of billings every month and most of my documents are PDF, without Kofax Power PDF, it would take me 5 times longer to generate the billings and all the lien releases that are associated with them.

Avantages :

I have been using a PDF Converter for 20+ years and have introduced many people to the programs. Power PDF saves so much time with being able to type or edit in a PDF, I use it several times a day. The money saved by being able to work in a PDF rather than hand writing everything is amazing.

Inconvénients :

I don't have any cons except I would set up the toolbars differently and make that part more user friendly.

Kofax Power PDF is all in one solution for PDF viewing, editing and exporting PDF files. It is very easy to use.

Inconvénients :

The process of merging PDF files can be ade more simpler so that even a layman can use it otherwise its great.

I've been using Power PDF for years

Avantages :

Power PDF allows me to create and edit pdf documents at a cost much lower than Adobe's pdf product.

Inconvénients :

Resulting pdf document file sizes seem to be larger than other pdf create applications.

Commentaires : Very good, this is the reason why I have been buying or upgrading since version 7 of PDF Converter Pro.

Avantages :

Freedom to edit PDF in a way that I cannot do without much more expensive software.

A bit slow to open, sometimes it does not share information well with other Windows software
