Commentaires : Overall enjoy it and won't change from it for now. Since we've opened, we've had no down time related to hosting issues, would reccomend.

Avantages :

Ease of use was the biggest draw to this product. Everything was a breeze to setup and was able to start selling our products within minutes of uploading photos and descriptions, couldn't be easier.

Inconvénients :

The software lacked the robustness of others. As far as features, some are limited in functionality where others had some small glitches.

Square online is much better than other platforms.

Serious bug on shipping profile setting. the program is written without a logical mindset. and problem was first brought up in community forum in 2021!!A Custom shipping profile allows Single Ship rate setting. And the insanity is, Square won't permit you to assign the product to multiple custom profiles. So your product is restricted to one custom profile where you can set one or multiple destinations, but with one ONE SINGLE ship rate allowed. The one who wrote the program does not have a sound mental state. The management at Square also have serious problem to allow the issue remain over 24 months.Live Chat agent confirmed with me today Sept 30, 2023, the feature I want is currently not available with Square OnlineWARNING TO WHO MAY BE INSTERESTED TO USE SQUARE ONLINESTay away unless they fix the problem !! It is a joke and a waste of time!

All Square products are super dependable to have a great UI.

There was nothing I hated and my expectations were met.

Unauthorized charges to my clients - Apparently no big deal to Square.

Commentaires : I have been with Square for several months now and hoped to have them handling all the payment processing for the three businesses my wife and I own. After these recent encounters with "support", however, I'm seriously wondering whether that is a good idea.

Avantages :

Square has an excellent user interface (Dashboard) and all the services I need ... I really like it when all is going smoothly. But I take double-charging my clients very seriously and apparently Square doesn't.

Inconvénients :

One of my websites is an information portal that is paid for by monthly subscription. I used a Wordpress plugin that was not the best solution for interacting with Square and came to the conclusion I needed to change ... so I Deactivated the software on my site and revoked the software's authorization (ability to connect) in my Square account. A month later, charges are still being processed for subscriptions made through the old software, so my clients are now being double-billed.I have now called twice about how to stop this. In both calls I was transferred multiple times (spoke to at least five people in each call). When I finally got to someone who was willing to try to address this, both individuals came to the conclusion that there was nothing they could do to stop the unauthorized charges, and both promised me that someone who doesn't take calls would get back to me.Nobody has ever followed up after either of these calls.

Avantages :

What I like most about Square online is it is beyond user friendly for me and my customers. It is a widely accepted software and my customers were able to pay simply by clicking on a link or invoice. Square also has donation links. This came in handy when I was raising money. Once I am paid, Square offers the option to be paid instantly or later that day via their card and checking account feature.

Inconvénients :

There was a bit of delay with payments in order to verify my identity. Once I submitted all required documents, funds were released.

Transfer times can take a bit long but there is an option to instantly transfer funds

Commentaires : Square Online has provided the most effective and affordable option for a growing small business that cannot afford the hefty price tags of other systems.

Avantages :

Square Online is a decent system that integrates well with the Square Retail POS. Managing inventory is generally easy although more features could be added consistent with our industry. Square stepped up its game by offering more options during the pandemic such as enhanced marketing tools, sales channel integrations with Facebook and an additional fulfillment method to offer to clients. Marketing features are decent, and the convenience of mobile apps is convenient when on the go.

Inconvénients :

Square needs to consider businesses that offer rentals. There can be improvements to better manage rental inventory and sales. Also, many manufacturers in our industry require that sale prices not be listed on e-commerce platforms. Square Online should add a "Call for Price" option.

User Friendly Set Up

Commentaires : I actually completed my site, have it up and running and am making sales! It’s a huge accomplishment to have been able to get this done! Square made it easy to navigate and was there for me when I had questions. They did not ignore my issues and kept in touch until things were fixed.

Avantages :

This is the mist user friendly software I have found. I have tried others and given up. But I completed my website on Square!

Inconvénients :

I’d like more creative options. To be able to soften edges of photos, create different shaped photos. More fonts to choose from and colors. Ability to make sections smaller and move wording around in more of the free space.

Square Online is a great option because of its ease of use and excellent support team. The templates were designed to look good on both desktop and mobile devices. It's very modern and intuitive. It's very easy to set up and learn. It's good that Square Retail catalog is integrated with it.

I would love to be able to copy design elements from one page to another. The template layout is very restrictive. It would be nice to be able to fully personalize. I would like the item description to sync with Square Retail.

Easy and No surprises on fees charged

Commentaires : Best of all I know what fees will be charged. also very easy to track those fees on individual transactions. No hassle trying to make sense of a monthly statement as is the case with other platforms and POS

Commentaires : I enjoy square I’ve been a member with them since 2017 and will continue to do so I just purchased a square stand for an iPad and will purchase a register to have an easier layout when making transactions.

I enjoy using Square because it is so easy and user-friendly. My employees just get right on it no need to show them 1 million times because it is that simple I enjoy it and I love to recommend other people to use it as well it’s also inexpensive and I enjoy it because it just takes some money right out so I don’t have to worry about paying no fees at the end of the month it’s already done

Inconvénients :

The least I like is how my reader disconnects but it’s fine I’ll just reconnected every day that’s the only downside

Website templates are limited and square online stores start to all look similar. Offering discounts with multiple purchased items without using a coupon is not available. Having automatic shipping discounts without using a coupon is not available. Would like automatic discounts and be able to offer free shipping when minimum orders are met. Have to be careful about generating a shipping label because you only get one chance. If a shipment requires two or more labels, can only generate through square online via shippo. Then have to go to shippo to generate additional labels. That is a hassle.

Commentaires : My time is important. I dont want to spend my time building or redesigning pages, I want to spend it with my products. Getting them described, priced and listed.

Avantages :

The ability to add multiple photos and contiually edit photos is probably what I like best. Description of product tells only some about the product. Buyers want to see it. I can easily edit the photos and rearrange them for renewed interest.

Inconvénients :

My products need a numbering system that a buyer can easily see and add when asking me questions about the product. Many customers want to use Pay Pal.

Commentaires : Overall, Square has been a bigger help than I anticipated. I love that it's not hard to find any answer to any question I have. I plan to use those platform long term.

Avantages :

Square makes starting an online business seem easy! They keep track of the inventory, allow you to make customer profiles, and be as creative as you like. The best features in my opinion are: the free stock photos, low cost domains, and checkout links.

Inconvénients :

Now that I've been using Square for a year now, I realize I would love the option to have my customers control their account and see past orders. I get asked that question a lot. Apparently it's not user-friendly as of right now

Commentaires : I'm really satisfied with how simple my Square Online site was to create, and is to stylize and update. It looks fabulous, even with the robust free features, but it's a powerhouse with the analytics on the backend. I love that I can link my Square Online site as a subdomain to be able to use it as a booking website for my photography business. Cutting down on email communication with clients, which has Square Online has made possible through its Square Appointments integration with Square Online, has been an invaluable tool for prioritizing time in-person with my clients. Square Online looks great, it's functional, and it's easy to use. It's a primary tool in my business' toolkit.

For how feature-packed the product is, It's very user-friendly to navigate and set up. For how great the complete product looks, it shouldn't be so simple to use.

Inconvénients :

Connecting my Square Online site a subdomain was not a simple task. Establishing the SSL certificate credentials with my web host took a little extra time.

It's easy to use. We use the free version.

I wish it had a ticket sales/box office report function. I also wish they had a better fee structure for nonprofits.

Commentaires : I love that I can post new products to my website and then tag them on my social media platforms all within 5 min. It just makes sooo many things simpler.

Avantages :

The ease of setting up my website was amazing!!! I had no website design experience prior to setting mine up. It was so easy. I just followed the prompts and read some of the tips and voilà! I have an amazing website!! I get compliments from my customers all time on how nice my website looks. They are absolutely amazed that I didn’t myself with no prior experience. If I can do this anyone can!!

Inconvénients :

I can’t really think of anything that sticks out to me that I don’t like. The few issues that I’ve had were usually my error or not quite understanding what was needed. Just like with any computer software once you learn it and get familiar with it it’s a breeze.
