Avantages :

Shopify POS est l'extension qui vous permet de créer votre point de vente à partir de votre site e-commerce fait avec Shopify

Inconvénients :

C'est un POS qui marche uniquement avec Shopify

User friendly

Avantages :

Facile d'utilisation même pour les personnes malhabiles avec les technologies

Inconvénients :

les frais, quoique très clairement définis

Très bon outil de gestion de caisse

Avantages :

Ce logiciel permet de gérer le stock et les ventes en point de vente physique.

Inconvénients :

Je n’ai pas de point négatif à remonter pour le moment.

Shopify helps to Sell-ify more items.

Commentaires : It is a very pleasant and easy experience, make a smooth process out of selling items. But I can't speak to the admin side of the app.

Avantages :

Very easy to learn, especially if you have used any other point of sale applications. Take multiple forms of payment easy. Even tap credit cards or phones for payments.

Inconvénients :

Not much to dislike. Occasionally it takes a little while for a transaction to fully process, but by and large everything works quickly.

Shopify POS Works Great with 3rd Party Apps

Commentaires : Overall, we are able to find work arounds for most issues and eventually we get things working. The convenience of the Shopify POS App is sometimes overshadowed by a need for 3rd party apps, and lots of time fiddling around. A major plus is that most issues that I encounter are issues for everyone else too, so I can usually find my answers in an archive somewhere. The bad news is that some issues have been around for years and are still not resolved. For instance, the month-end inventory snapshot sometimes takes up to 2 weeks into the new month to show the month prior.

Avantages :

I love the ability to integrate our online store with our brick & mortar location. Before Shopify, we had to put in every order twice to capture the online sale. Now it's simple to manage our products both online and in store.

Inconvénients :

It doesn't have the ability to do Weighted Average Cost (or any other costing method that isn't FIFO). Additionally, Shopify POS doesn't have any report to track adjustments made to inventory-- you must go into each individual item to view adjustment history per item. There's no way to track bulk adjustments made in the inventory screen. We use 3+ apps just to make Shopify POS work as a normal POS should.

The most I liked about this product is how quick and easy it is to set up, virtually taking no time at all to get it going.

Expected Better, But Time May Yield a Better Product

Commentaires : Shopify POS, at time of trial (2021) was not at a usable state for a retail business. Developed by a tech company without any real knowledge of brick & mortar retail operations, it is not nearly robust enough for a store with a sizeable inventory or services.

Avantages :

Shopify POS is convenient for a small store with a very small product catalogue. Boutiques and cafes would be most appropriate.

Inconvénients :

Had to use on an ipad w/ other specific hardware. It was rife with compatibility issues and half-baked features built on Shopify's piecemeal app system.

Superior analytics

Commentaires : The analytics are quite superior to any other industry specific tool available to us.

Avantages :

The UI and how easy it is to use. Specifically, I like how simple it is to being able look up products.

Inconvénients :

Adding an existing customer to an order.

Shopify is expensive but pays off

The best thing about shopify is their ease of use and minimum fee for new users , also $1 for first month and customer reviews option.

Inconvénients :

Its costly when you keep on adding apps to scale your shop .

At the time Shopify made it easy to create new product listings & integrate them to etsy.

Very limited on how you designed your shop and where you sold your products.

I like that I can accept payments on my phone.

A little difficult to set up on your own

No free equipment as oppposed to square competitor

The Most Known POS!

Avantages :

I love that they also have a balance account. You can have quicker pay and a designated credit kinds of account.

Inconvénients :

Nothing honestly that I don’t like about Shopify.

I Am Most Impressed With Shopify

Commentaires : I’m very happy with them and have convinced my friend to sign up. She is happy with it too

Avantages :

I love the ease of use and learning didn’t take too much time. I use it to cash out my customers and inventory management as well as website maintenance.

Inconvénients :

The price. The additional apps can be confusing. I wish they had better apps for social media posts. They did but the social companies pulled the apps as far as I know. I can’t afford paid ads all the time and the posts directly from my products across all socials were so helpful. Now I can only post in Facebook.

Shopify Happy User !

Commentaires : Overall we are super happy and impressed with our Shopify Experience. What i like most about Shopify is that it’s user friendly and customer friendly. It accepts an array of payments, it allows us to manage our entire website in a user friendly way, it synchs our inventory and order accurately and accepts our payments into our accounting software !

Sometimes the synching to quick books is not completely accurate

Extremely helpful to use if just opening an online business and creating a really good platform for your clients and consumers to shop

Learning the app and the website is a little bit confusing it first, but you get to know bottom line of it

Commentaires : Shopify POS has greatly helped to streamline our instore ordering process and saved a lot of pen and paper work.

Avantages :

We use Shopify POS to manage our walk in orders, it links directly to our stock levels on our main site and is easy to use.

Inconvénients :

Some apps don't integrate with POS so some products in which we have multiple options, that usually require an app, need to be input manually.

Best tool for retail

Avantages :

It is fully integrated with Shopify, so we have one tool for both the website and the stores.

Inconvénients :

We struggle to create new accounts so we have to use old ones all the time.

Commentaires : Shopify was easy to setup and integrate. However, their fee structure was cost prohibitive for the type of print on demand business I was starting.

Avantages :

Shopify integrates well with other platforms like Etsy for seamless integration of print on demand products.

Inconvénients :

Shopify had an expensive fee model that made it one of the more expensive options.

Sometimes the bluetooth takes a while to find the POS, but once set up, it works great

Commentaires : Although there are some minor imperfections, I continue to utilize Shopify POS because it remains the most user-friendly point-of-sale solution for my business. Moreover, I find the pricing to be reasonable.

Avantages :

Setting up and utilizing Shopify POS proved to be a fast and effortless process. Since I had already established my online store using Shopify, all I had to do was install Shopify POS on my iPhone, and I was ready to begin selling. The seamless integration between my store and the POS system for managing products, customers, and orders made the entire management process highly efficient.

Inconvénients :

Honestly, I don't have any significant criticisms about Shopify. If I were to mention a minor drawback, it would be that not all features are included by default, and additional apps are required for certain functionalities unless you opt for Shopify Pro.
