Both the payroll register and journal are useless and lack ER tax expenses. Their invoice does not actually detail their management fee charged. Most frustrating, ADP pulls one (1) amount for EE salaries, their management fees, EE \& ER taxes AND delivery fees. However, they do NOT CLEARLY detail how they arrive at this amount. I have yet to see any total of FUTA calculated or paid...accept for in January of the following year. > > As the client's accountant, ADP does not cater to or provide clear reports detailing bank draft total or EE deduction codes to inform accountants how to post payroll. One lump sum captures the EE net pay, total taxes, mgmt fee and delivery fee (which ironically IS detailed\!). They are not employer friendly by providing total payroll cost (EE salary \& ER taxes) let alone ADP's processing cost (which is a rate based on the EE salary). I also think their fees are high considering how terrible reports and little customer support.
