We liked that we could have everything in one system including billing thru quickbooks and our subscriptions. Its very easy to use after taking the training and using daily.
I get why - but we have asked for a button to make it show inactive so we don't have it on a drop down.

You won't regret it!
Commentaires : I have been very satisfied w/ Magazine Manager; the program, reaching and tracking support has improved immensely; training availability and said category for training can be suited for individual needs.
Avantages :
They are making it so you can have one program that does the job of many. It's my CRM, it's my task manager, it handles my email marketing, keeps me informed of my team's progress; helps w/ me a/r; which has saved our company time and money in getting rid of programs no longer needed, reaching a larger client base and in staying on top of our collections. They offer regular training not just on their crm but sales trainings by their team as well as outsiders, like [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. They are constantly improving their system;
Inconvénients :
That I can't make groups on the fly; that invoices can't reference an ad name; that we can't track when a client open's an email. however, when I come up with these instances these can either provide me with a work around or they are in the midst of solving that issue.

I really love how Magazine Manager brings our whole team together. It covers every department, so instead of juggling external programs, we're all connected in one smooth software flow. It just makes collaboration a breeze!
Inconvénients :
I genuinely can't pinpoint anything negative about Magazine Manager. Over a decade of use has revealed its continuous evolution through proactive improvements. What's truly commendable is their receptiveness to user feedback. Not only do they listen, but our firsthand experience confirms they actively implement enhancements suggested by users, fostering a collaborative and responsive user experience.

Good CRM Software
Commentaires : Magazine Manager definitely helps our business run smoothly. Would recommend to others, but I hope that MM will improve their customer service and support venues.
Avantages :
Magazine manager helps us keep our contacts and orders organized and all in one place.
Inconvénients :
Help files tend to be very outdated, so there is a lot of reliance on tech support, which is usually good but can be a bit of a struggle depending who you speak to. "Updates" don't always make a lot of sense - sometimes make things more difficult.
Magazine Manager VIP
Commentaires : The chat feature works extremely well. I'm thrilled to have live support within minutes, and transcripts emailed at the conclusion of the conversation.
Avantages :
The Magazine Manager helps efficiently streamline the sales process - it combines your address book, calendar, and reminder apps all in one, and has the added benefit of AI. It also helps teams with cross-selling, inventory management, and marketing outreach.
Inconvénients :
It would be great if each company/business had an umbrella account ID. This way users could refer to a business by the account ID, versus having to relay multiple IDs for the individual contacts, when referring to an account. This would be beneficial since businesses can have more than one contact for sales, production, and billing. The mobile capabilities are quite limited. Both the UI and UX could be updated to provide an experience similar to the web version.

Regarding your comment on having an umbrella account ID, we have added a new 'Parent Company' feature that will allow you to group together Companies & Sub Contacts under one shared account that then can be used as an additional search filter. This feature can be used for parent/subsidiary company relationships as well as just for simpler grouping & searching - such as in your case. If you would like to learn more about this feature, feel free to reach out to your software consultant who would be more than happy to walk you through it.
Magazine Manager Helps Keep it Together!
Commentaires : Easy to use and manage all of my working accounts. Providing detailed report outs of past years - comparisons to previous issues and products.
Avantages :
Keeping everything in one place and easily pulling needed information. Keeps me on task - providing quick review of past sales / etc.
Inconvénients :
The inability to schedule our digital packages with many products as one line item - while still providing a sub job jacket or something for artwork and schedule

It's made of a Magazine/Newspaper business
Commentaires : Overall I am quite happy with the change, and look forward to growing with magazine manager and learning the new features that they are constantly adding on a regular basis.
Avantages :
I finally found a CRM that was built for the publishing industry that we didn't have to pay someone a lot of money to build out. They are constantly doing updates to make it or intuitive and friendly.
Inconvénients :
Sometimes it is more complicated than it needs to be, or they haven't completely developed certain aspects they are still under development.

Mag manager
Avantages :
Magazine manager allows me to keep organized with all of my tasks. Future calls scheduled meetings. These features help me tremendously with my daily workflow and time management. What I like best for each contact entered, I can go to notes and activity and enter or review what was discussed last.
Inconvénients :
What I like least about magazine manager is that there are too many ways to search for a contact. This leads to multiple entries of the same business. This has caused confusion and controversy between other sales reps.

Small Business Transformation

Avantages :
The absolute number one thing that has been a blessing is the people who work at Magazine Manager from the Ownership down to their Account Managers everyone has been very accessible, patient, and easy to work with. They truly have taken the time to understand how we have operated for over 40 years and adapted their system to ours.
Inconvénients :
The main cons I can think of have already been addressed or are currently being addressed with their continued product updates.

Reliable and easy to use
Commentaires : Solid experience so far. I've found that the essential things I need coming from a Salesforce-heavy background are satisfied.
Avantages :
In the short amount of time I've been using Magazine Manager as my daily CRM, I've found it very easy to find new tools to incorporate into making my daily routing.
Inconvénients :
Email integration took a bit of time for our internal operations team but it is working well now.

Organizing My Clients

It's a very simple program to learn. Efficiently laid out and provides the resources I need to be successful.

A Critical component for business
Commentaires : Very good, There's still a lot I don't know about Magazine Manager but am very excited that they make it so easy to learn, customer support is also great.
Avantages :
Magazine Manager allows multiple people to communicate within notes and calls and keeps a record for us, when your'e making many calls it's easy to forget what happened with each one a week later, but Magazine Manger keeps all your notes and everyone else's right there. The production module is critical for us to keep track of everyones status.
Inconvénients :
I don't really see a con withing magazine manager. They send us emails constantly with updates and options to join classes and read or listen to everything new going on within the website.

Magazine Manager is a Great CRM
Commentaires : Great system. Talked with others who struggle with their CRM and if there are issues, someone is always there to help you through it. Great IT support!
Avantages :
Ease of working in the system. Reports are readily available and easy to download. Invoicing and receivables are easy to complete and track in the system.
Inconvénients :
Initial set up of products was a bit confusing, but after you do a few it is pretty easy.

Powerful Publishing Software
Avantages :
Ease of use and very intuitive. Customer support is amazing.
Inconvénients :
There is nothing in particular that I dislike about Magazine Manager. The product software is constantly updated and improved. When I have needed a new report for some kind of analysis, the customer support team has assisted in a timely fashion.

The Magazine Manager Excellent Experience
Avantages :
The amount of reports you can pull up, ease of use, accurate display of information. It is the easiest client database I've ever used.
Inconvénients :
Can't thing of a Cons, but I believe the app might help if you could do everything you can do in the website version.

Magazine Manager System that actually works.
Avantages :
Magazine Manager helps me manage all print and digital publications, clients, ad campaigns, billing and invoicing everything in one place which allows me a better time management improving my day-to-day operations.
Inconvénients :
The updates sometimes can be overwhelming at first.

When your use to another program (ie: Media Radar) you can see spending habits, what products they are buying and the creative, and you have contact or decision maker or agency at your fingertips.

Ease of use, compiling reports, creating proposals and converting to contract
Inconvénients :
They change things up alot without notice, ability to delete clients that have proposals and such attached when companies are no longer in business

Regarding the ability to delete clients that have proposals/order history, we have added the ability to inactivate client records through the action panel on the Contact Record. This will prevent those records from appearing in searches and reports while also maintaining your previous sales data. If you have any questions, your software consultant would be more than happy to help!
Essential for magazine ad sales
Commentaires : Fantastic program and I love it! I have used many crm program but this one is specifically designed for magazine and it makes it easier to track and plan ahead for many years.
Avantages :
The ability to create proposals and track opportunities linked to companies and individuals from the company

Inconvénients :

It is wonderful to not miss any customer when it comes to sales, production, or accounting.
Inconvénients :
Client contacts can get kind of messy. It takes work from all departments to ensure your client profiles are kept up-to-date over time.
