Avantages :

Easy to use cloud based system that is being operated at three sites, covered the features we needed for our stock tracing.

Inconvénients :

Only one item photo can be uploaded/viewed on windows app, while multiple pics can be uploaded/seen on mobile app. Online storefront a bit confusing because of not having an "Add to cart" button.

Sales & Purchase made simple

Commentaires : Software is one of my favorites for companies with no purchase order system.

Avantages :

Great for small companies who need sales and purchasing. Sales has records of customer quoted sales and purchases can see what to order. Great way for a company to keep track of purchases and data can be exported to third part software. Purchasing software even has serial column for warranty verification of products. Was great for HVAC and appliance repair company. Great software for company with no purchase order system. Can make everything paperless and user's can view inventory, content and prices with no license. User license is portable.

Inconvénients :

Software lacks year end inventory count reset. Reports could be better to show year to date expenses. I had a tough time getting year to date reports.

Commentaires : It has all the we currently need in terms of order management and inventory management, and such basic functions are enough so far. But the SQL engine tends to jam very often... it is annoying yet not a cause to discard the software yet.

Avantages :

Easy to use, easy to deploy and configure

Inconvénients :

Unstable, tends to lag frequently. Consumes too much resources. Must be restarted once per day

Commentaires : Overall, don't color me impressed. It has a pretty interface and great functionality in theory. However the design elements are no better than that of an average student at a community college. It crashes and the server stability will leave you waiting to perform inventory.

Avantages :

In theory this works great. Limited to growth with a company with no API support. Which is unfortunate that they chose this route considering their pricing is on tier with medium size businesses in mind.

Inconvénients :

If the servers are down so frequently, the app will automatically opt for you to uninstall if it wasn't able to grab update information. You will also not be able to actively get to your inventory. If users are paying for a cloud service... you might want to get some server stability first. Yes... it's all secure, however this is risk management that should be addressed prior to charging for a product. My investors would have my head if I attempted to charge for such a beast.

The Juice is Worth the Squeeze

Commentaires : As my company grew, the previous IMS we were using was clearly not fitting our needs and I began a 3 month search of mid to high level IMS platforms. I think I demoed almost ten platforms. They all had their strengths and weaknesses. inFlow provided a robust and scalable platform that suited my needs and covered those for further company expansion.

Avantages :

Hands down, my favorite part of inFlow has been the customer service from their team. From onboarding all the way to small questions later down the road, they have been nothing short of exemplary. My business has a fairly complex special case use for inventory management and they helped me find creative solutions.

Inconvénients :

To be fair, this is a typical issue when it comes to any third party integrations or API, but the crosstalk between inFlow and QBO could be better. The linking to charts of accounts, etc could be improved.

Commentaires : Good to great. I have no other inventory system to compare with, but feel it is a useful tool.
I have no comment on how expensive it is for a small company as I do not handle accounts. It is just a hunch that for a small company that many not need all of the applications, it is expensive.

Avantages :

It is comprehensive in terms of data retention of all inputs, with a wide variety of inputs. Re-order levels is good and tracking history and ability to transfer directly to accounting is great.

Inconvénients :

The fact that it is not easy to adjust the invoice look and the Excel transfer sheet for evaluation. The format for invoices is not helpful in the that the total amount sometimes the the last digit gets wrapped to the next row. I have to transfer to Excel to make a correction. Annoying. Excel export format the columns all need adjusting to capture the data in the columns. Also very annoying.

Commentaires : My experience has been extremely positive. The tech support team has consistently provided the information I need in a helpful and timely manner.

Avantages :

I use the generated reports for my quarterly cycle counts to reduce shrinkage and better control of inventory movement. Tracking purchase and sales orders has helped our team minimize material shortages in the field, resulting in a positive customer experience.

Inconvénients :

Some reports lack the complete information I need, requiring me to compile multiple reports into a single Excel file to get a comprehensive view.

Commentaires : Very happy customer. I have used inFlow for 14 years and have found very few issues or glitches. Any time I have needed support they have been excellent.

Avantages :

User friendly, fast loading. It offers all the functionality I need without being bogged down with features I don't require. Customer service is excellent and they take feedback on board to improve the software.

Inconvénients :

The cost of the cloud vs on premise. I was a very happy user of on premise for 14 years and had no intention to move over to cloud but eventually had no choice.

The Simplest and Most Efficient Stock Management System available

Commentaires : We spent a lot of time trying 5 or 6 cloud-based software looking for the easiest system on the market. We really enjoy using it for over 5 years. Menus are intuitive. You can use it without training or tutorials. Great to setup reordering points & quantities; Customer statements, credit notes, returns, Online Catalogue for customers, etc

Avantages :

Simplicity to use. Great customer support. Very comprehensive capabilities.

Inconvénients :

That it is not completely cloud based, i.e. it takes a few seconds to load up or update

Avantages :

Ease of use. Excellent online training videos. Versatility. It was easy to adapt InFlow into our established business procedures.

Inconvénients :

This might just be me not figuring it out, but we handle an extensive number of unique inventory items. In the current stock view I do not want to see all of the items with 0 inventory

Commentaires : Overall its the best i have found. I used Millenium software called Aatrex and it had one major advantage, I was able to program my own reports using crystal reports. The disadvantage is they have not gone to the cloud or handheld devices.

Avantages :

The ability to have many types of inventory and pricing in CAD & other currencies. The pre baked different ways an order can be printed, invoice, confirmation, pick list, box label

Inconvénients :

I cannot figure out how to make an inventory report that excludes items with zero inventory on hand. The software is missing the ability to easily print out a list of available products that i can hand to a customer. In order to have such a list, I must export to excel and manually remove any items with zero or negative inventory. Its a huge time sink

Alternatives envisagées : Odoo

Pourquoi choisir inFlow Inventory : Because i needed something accessible remotely to begin with. once i switched i learned how flexible the software is for inventory management.

Hi Todd, thanks for this great, detailed review! Regarding your report, here are two tips that could help: 1. You could use an Inventory by Location report which can exclude products with zero quantity. 2. If your plan includes inFlow Showroom, you could create a public showroom and share that link with your customers. Showrooms can exclude out-of-stock products, and unlike an emailed or printed report, the showrooms are updated live based on the latest inFlow data. Hope that helps, and thanks again! ^TW

Decent Inventory Cloud management at a fraction of the cost of the competitors

Commentaires : Much better than anything else we trialled, the interface is good and their help team responsive.
Overall very pleased with it

Avantages :

Pictorial easy to use cloud interface, app which allows scanning inventory in and out. Easy to manufacture items and sub components of items

Inconvénients :

Still working a few bugs out of the system, but what software isn't. There is some rather crucial information missing on stock adjustments (like who did them), which makes following up a pain for me at the moment - I hope they are going to add this data field in the future. I would also like to be able to make explanations for stock movement mandatory

Made a world of difference for our warehouse team

Commentaires : Very positive overall experience. I wouldn't recommend it for a large corporate entity but we are a small company with thousands of items and it works great.

Avantages :

Easy data import via CSV UOM conversions Multiple Location/Sub-Locations - track specific quantities by specific buildings/shelves Material pricing tiers Easily track orders Mobile App! Now we know what needs to be ordered for upcoming projects before the project starts depleting our inventory! Online Storefront!

Inconvénients :

The windows app works fine but is a bit sluggish. You don't get that polished/refined feel when using it. Fragmentation between mobile apps and windows app. Only one item photo can be uploaded/viewed on windows app, while multiple pics can be uploaded/seen on mobile app. Online storefront a bit confusing because of not having an "Add to cart" button. Simple selecting a quantity puts that quantity in your cart. Only integrates with Dymo label printers.

It's the most comprehensive small business software I've come across with excellent customer service

Commentaires : Better tracking if purchases, inventory and sales, pretty much important in running a business.

Avantages :

I love that it has all the features from purchase to sales and the inventory functionalities are comprehensive. It captures almost all of our business scenarios. It is really comprehensive vs all other software that we evaluated. I would say that this is the top inventory software in its class, before the big ERPs. Also, their recent strategy to move to cloud with integration to popular platforms has made the software more relevant, and made our business easier to operate. Finally, the customer service is really great. They do interact with all users closely and they listen to product improvement suggestions.

Inconvénients :

1) it would really really be a big productivity boost to be able to create sales order, review customer receivables/orders, and stock transfers in the mobile app or at least in the web app

Commentaires : Made my job as sales representative, and inventory control, much easier and more accurate.

Avantages :

Once you get to find your way around some, you come to see that it's going to save lots of time, and redundancies, with regard to invoices, packing slips, inventory control. But what is wonderful is it gives you a trajectory of inventory, so you never have to worry about having enough stock, or the dreaded "too-much-stock" on hand. The tech support has been friendly, and precise, even waiting on the phone as I worked through the things that I needed help with. I used to be asked by my boss, at the worst times I might add, "How much stock do we have right now?" And I'd give a guesstimate, sometimes close, some times I was way off, as I had to answer right away. Those days are gone thankfully, as now at any given moment I can not only give an exact stock count, but I can tell if more is needed to order and how much. The neat part too, is you can put in your own trigger amounts when stock count sinks to a certain it tells you to reorder, and you decide how much. No more guess work!!

Inconvénients :

I wish the invoice templates were a little more striking in appearance. Just a little drab. Yes you can make your own but, a few more invoice template choices with invoicing would be nice with more life. That goes for the stock inventory as well. It tells the information, but looks boring. Just a little more lively looking reports would be nice especially when presenting these in company meetings. Example: "It's like 2 Ferrari's, one with the body just primed, the other with a sleek polished competition race paint job. Both perform the same, but one looks like it means business."

Try inFlow - you'll be glad you did.

Commentaires : We have fluctuated between 3 and 17 employees since signing on with inFlow. inFlow has met our purchasing, order processing, and inventory management needs in the good times and in the not so good times. We have been able to increase and decrease team members, modify add-ons, and make other administrative adjustments to our profile without any issues. We have received the same prompt and friendly service whether we are at 17 team members or 3 team members.

Avantages :

Value - Inventory, Order Processing, and Purchasing. All 3 provide bang for the buck. Import and export features for all modules.

Inconvénients :

To me, the custom reporting features are limited. By exporting csv files and merging information using vlookup, we have been able to satisfy our needs.

Great software for us as a small business

Commentaires : Overall we like Inflow and have used it for a number of years. I’m sure it can do more for us than we are using but we tend to just stick with what we do.

Avantages :

We’re a small wholesaler. This was very easy for us to set up. Helps us keep on top of all our orders.

Inconvénients :

Not sure if it integrates with our other software. We often find we have to duplicate work from Sage.

Great Program For Startup to Well Established Companies

Commentaires : They were great to work with when we put the program to use. Beats many of the "higher" end companies out there with their product features and simple to use.

Avantages :

InFlow has been one of the easiest inventory programs to work with. Not only is it easy to use, it is always updating with features from skus management, multiple locations inventory control, ordering and third party features and intergration.

Inconvénients :

We were an early adopter of InFlow before they had all the bugs worked out and we paid for a full program years ago but since then that program is no longer available for free, we really liked the afforable aspect back when we purchased it as a total package. Not necessarily a con but more or less just times changing and technology changing and us being early on, not ready to pay for another upgrade so to speak.

Commentaires : Overall experience is excellent on all levels. Main plus is being able to have technical issues resolved.

Avantages :

Pros: Superior Support with real humans. This is a company that you can actual talk to real humans that are knowledgeable and can quickly resolve any issue. You can tell immediately you are not talking to someone reading a script on how to resolve an issue. They know and resolve.

Inconvénients :

I wasn't a fan of moving to the cloud. We have not had any issues though.

Great software but needs work in a few key areas

Commentaires : Simple inventory management.

Avantages :

The software is great for managing our inventory it has images, adds bar codes, manufacturers SKU and the showroom is a great start. InFlow has allowed us to become more compliant in managing Hazardous Goods.

Inconvénients :

The showroom needs to have more customisation options, the labels only print on Dymo printers however we have a Toshiba Tec industrial label printer a common printer that we use bartender software with. Why cant Inflow integrate with Bartender to support all label printers? We are using InFlow to manage a chemical store, this means chemicals and consumables used in a laboratory environment. Inflow could do with the ability to upload a PDF to an item in the extras field so you can attach a MSDS to the products if they are hazardous materials.

Ease of Using Inflow Inventory Program

Commentaires : In my opinion, Inflow cloud is very user friendly. I like that in the products tab you can search for any item with using word in the title. It doesn't have to be specific. I feel that the system is very straight forward and easy to learn all the basic functions for supply ordering and inventory control.

Avantages :

The customer service that work with Inflow are very attentive and knowledgeable about the system and time to review and come up with solutions to any question we may have to streamline our inventory process.

Inconvénients :

The cloud version and the app are different and sometimes confusing to switch between the two. I feel there are more features available in the cloud version.

I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO EASILY POPULATE THE SOFTWARE FOR SEVERAL OF OUR AREAS AND DEPARTMENTS AND AM CURRENTLY WORKING WITH VARIOUS MANAGERS.

Avantages :

PERSONALLY LIKE THE LOCATIONS FEATURES AND SUB-LOCATIONS, EASY TO ASSIGN ASSETS TO THEIR APPROPRIATE DEPARTMENTS AND USERS. I ALSO LIKE THE FEATURE TO ADD IN YOUR OWN TABS AND FIELDS.

Inconvénients :

I WOULD LIKE FOR THE SHOWROOM TO BE ABLE TO BE SPLIT INTO SEVERAL OR VARIOUS SECTIONS....SUCH AS BEING ABLE TO FILTER ONE DIVISION FROM THE OTHER, POSSIBLY HAVING INDIVIDUAL SHOWROOMS FOR EACH DEPARTMENT SO THAT WE CAN MAKE IT EASIER TO FILTER EACH DEPARTMENT'S ASSETS AND HAVE THEM BE SHOWN ONLY FOR THEIR ASSIGNED USERS WE INVITE. Avantages :

The best thing about inFlow Inventory is the tracking and reporting.

Inconvénients :

The reporting features are almost perfect, I have one report I need to create on my own, but otherwise the program is almost perfect.

Avantages :

A highly functional platform that assists us in tracking both incoming and outgoing stock.

Inconvénients :

The mobile app requires further development. A couple of notable issues include difficulties with barcode scanning and instances where the application crashes or fails to allow user sign-in.
