My funds were held up without clear explanation, timelines kept changing, and getting accurate information from support was not forthcoming even when they transferred me to a Manager. This created unnecessary stress, especially since money transfers are time sensitive and require trust. While Remitly markets speed and reliability, my experience did not reflect that at all. After 6 days I finally gave up and am now using Wise. Transparency was lacking with Remitly, and the resolution process felt slow and impersonal. Unfortunately i didn't register to receive online statements from my bank and i didn't have any. I sent them pay slips as means on income, and they didn't take that. The only was was to cancel the transaction, and their refund process takes approximately 10 days. I'm still waiting for my money up to now. My worry is, why request for such critical information, which has a possibility of breaking the deal when you have deducted money from my account? When i cant proceed with the transaction you tell of a 10 waiting period to refund, does that make sense?
