The team seems to be making a lot of upgrades within a relatively short time, unlike other LMS LTDs I tried on appsumo. It is completely White-Labelled. I refunded Mastera because there was branding. Branding is also a problem with Heartbeat (if someone is considering that as an LMS, which it is not). It is probably the cheapest option so far on appsumo. For $99, they are offering unlimited courses and live classes (you get one school). I inquired about the un-sustainability of the product’s unlimited offer at 15:15 on 27th June 2022, and they replied to me on the same evening. Their reply is under the CONS. See below. Customer care usually gets back within 24 hours and doesn’t work on weekends. This is super-fast compared to TutorLMS (wordpress LMS plug-in) response rate standards. Plus, they are polite and nice to talk to. Pabbly Connect is already available and both Action and Trigger will be there. This was a problem with a couple of LMSes that had one but not both. Fortunately, uteach is good here. > > **Inconvénients**: In practice, landing pages does not look “as good as” the way they advertised on appsumo. The screenshots on their appsumo page look much prettier and neater than the way this product actually looks. Not sure what the technical term is. But the page looks fluffy or bloated – lots of white spaces in between, and although they say you can reduce those white spaces, it was not very friendly to me. It needs to be more drag-and-drop like Wix or Godaddy websites. Currently, it’s more like WordPress LMSes, where you fill in certain information in the background and then see them on the front page. So, you don’t have much control over text looks, fonts, or sizes. I asked them how do you plan to manage their unlimited plan? The reply was, “Only a little per cent of our users will be LTD.” I am a layperson, but it seemed not such an elaborate description to me, and I would have preferred to hear something more concrete. > > In my opinion, I would say Uteach is probably the best out of the LMS lot released between 2021-2022. It has all the features I need, and they are also getting pabbly integration. Subscriptions and course bundles will be available by the end of the year. There are templates of ready-made certificates. While these features are found basic most LMS on LTDs (early-stage) lack them. For example, go4clic does not have certificate templates. They ask you to design one on canva.com and upload it on go4clic, and you can then set the name of the student and course information on it. That’s a hassle. My biggest complaint with uTeach is the aesthetic look. The website can look better. But if I compare it with the competitors, even thinkific’s looks are not that great. So, I guess I don’t have much to complain either. My second big concern is their unlimited offer; I have not heard anything concrete from them. So, sustainability concerns me. The product is rich with features and probably set a new level of expectations for future LMS products. ----- ### "Unethical business practices. Live lessons can include your own video conferencing solution. You are not limited via Zoom. Logging into the application is intuitive and clear. Ability to sell digital products. Responsive website. Localization into 30 languages, including Czech, which is used by our students. > > **Inconvénients**: The possibility of comments and adding tasks for students is missing. Course packs and challenges cannot be created. The mobile app is an expensive monthly and yearly fee. Quite challenging to adapt the entire application to use. Returning to courses from an open lesson is not intuitive in mobile viewing. > > After the setting of all the features, Uteach is a professional looking LMS.
