> **Avantages**: I've tried a number of database managers for Android, and frankly, all were inferior to Handbase which has a long history. It was already a great product on the Palm platform years ago.This is a real database manager with features one expects from such a program.

> **Inconvénients**: Could be updated to support Unicode, and field length should be expanded. 2000 characters maximum is ok, but limits its usefulness for certain projects.

> This product has been around for decades they work across desktop and mobile devices with an emphasis on mobile. I have used HanDbase on a palm pilot,  Windows phone, iPhone, and iPad. They have fantastic features and incredibly full features. If you want a  barcode reader check, if you want a relational database Jack, if you want dependent tables and drop downs's check,   They are inexpensive you can buy them on the App Store. You could think of it like Microsoft access for mobile devices.  What they lack is integration to global data bases so you couldn't create  this as a front end.   The data is local to the mobile device and would have to be synchronized  to a desktop app then imported into your desktop database. They do have plug-ins that you can buy that will automate that process. But if you want  A local database on your mobile device seriously look no further.   They also have an extensive premade database library for free.
