Our district switched to standards based grading and we were able to make a customized gradebook with proficiency scales for standards in schoology. We also love the options for discussion boards and annotations in courses in schoology. > > **Inconvénients**: It is easy for teachers to share resources with students but not so much between teachers. They can create groups where the post materials for each other to use but there's not the google drive equivalent of "make a copy" for course or other larger material. Teachers end up recreating content from others that could easily be duplicated. > > I have worked as an EdTech for 3 years at a district that uses schoology as our LMS. I help teachers get onboarded each year and help them set up their gradebooks and courses. I also offer training on new features. Additionally, the site doesn't allow you to remove parents associated with students and delete those accounts once you no longer want to check their grades. Also, the site errors out a lot when trying to submit assignments or take tests or quizzes. > > This learning management system is average at best, but I definitely do not recommend it as a top option.
