All the aspects of batch execution in an FDA regulated atmosphere are thought of. The Mar-Kov support team is dedicated to helping us understand how to best use the system. > > **Inconvénients**: Unfortunately, any comprehensive batch manufacturing system is going to require a lot of data to get up and going. We were starting from a process where almost everything was kept on paper, so there was a bit of work to get up and going. I can't imagine that any other system would have been any easier, and Mar-Kov's implementation strategy focused on getting the most important tasks done first so that we could get through all of the data entry as efficiently as possible. > > I have personally used a couple of different solutions at previous employers (not for batch execution, but as ERP, WMS, and MRP solutions). I have never had a system that came as close to providing exactly what they promised. We have had no significant "gotchas," where we thought we were going to be able to do something only to find out that we didn't quite understand the caveats in the sales pitch. Mar-Kov has been able to give us everything we thought we were going to be getting. The PTSV shows me when we will have an issue and on what date. All of the data entered to get this accurate information is all setup by me including lead times, testing lead times, minimum stock levels, ect. > > **Inconvénients**: We have a very unique product and style of manufacturing which makes it difficult at times for support to resolve our issues quickly. Having one assigned Account Manager has helped us in the past and I am confident it will continue to help us along in the future. We also have data in CMS from 2014 so the set viewers can become a little bogged down over time with so much data. > > Our overall experience has been great. We currently have our daily activity exported into Quick Books Online with ease via a nightly automatic export. We are able to manage maintenance schedules on rooms, machinery and equipment. The planning and entry of batching orders and the purchasing of raw materials and packaging materials is easy and something we do quarterly. CMS makes this easy because we can't remember everything, but this software does. It holds all of our data from when we began using it in 2014.
