> **Avantages**: Legacy version worked great, did everything we needed and was reasonably priced. Had been using for almost 15 years with very few issues. When there was an ussue Norm was on it immediately.

> **Inconvénients**: Received an email evening before that old platform was changing and to use “new” system. New system has limited functions, was not ready to launch. Full of bugs and could’nt even calculate the taxes correctly. Tried to have them call me, never happened. Software not working, they won’t accept emails. Pointed me to a ticket system for problems and opened a medium priority ticket for us.

> Was forced to find an alternative and manually transfer hundreds of existing reservations into the new system. Campground master has a slick import tool for our thousands of customers info into it. Norm must have sold Open Campground as he would have never let these terrible experiences happen to his belovid software.

LOVE LOVE the group reservation.  So handy since I have many groups a year reserving 10 or more sites.
The fact the Norm is only as far away as my computer keyboard - he is so quick to answer/resolve any issues I am confronted with.  He can fix anything.

> **Avantages**: This is the perfect product for campgrounds that want a simple but effective Reservation software.  It is easy to learn and to use.  The price is also affordable unlike most software packages that want a fee plus a percentage of your site rental.

> I am now able to generate reports that I wanted and needed and I have a database in the cloud for my campers. This makes repeat reservations much easier to make\!

> After having used costly software at a much larger campground, I was very happy to find Open Campground.  Ours is only 80 sites, with about 1/2 seasonals, but we do have a variety of rates by site type, season and mid-week vs weekend, and the software allows for all of that.  As with any program, there are times I need to over-ride a rate, but that is quick and easy.  I have had a few minor issues along the way, but the best part is that  ANY TROUBLE I have had has been resolved very quickly after emailing the designer.  I get a rapid response, and it is corrected shortly thereafter.  We have used the cloud based system, and just started taking the on-line reservations this year.  Feel free to use the demo program to the full extent, so you can see what you are able to do.  Would strongly recommend this program for other campgrounds.
