There are a lot of really helpful features, particularly the ability to design and personalize templates that function a lot like mail merge in office. I also really enjoy the divorcemate cloud integration. > > **Inconvénients**: When we started with LEAP, it often felt like we were beta testing software that was already supposed to be finished. The software is really buggy. It doesn't integrate well with Microsoft Office and the integrations often cause random errors or crashing with microsoft word. I've had to completely uninstall and reinstall the app several times when it seems to get 'stuck' or won't update properly for random reasons - for example, new matters won't show up when I login and only appear when searching archived matters as well. I don't like that I can't open multiple windows in the matter; it makes it cumbersome to move documents between various folders. It also struggles if you have a weaker internet connection. I don't find the software particularly intuitive - many of the tools are not where you would expect them to be. > > Overall, I miss the old divorcemate compared to LEAP. This program was designed by lawyers to capture all the important aspects of client management. Everything related to a file matter is stored in one place - ie. emails, documents, notes, billing so it's easy to find information quickly. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get the right support. For instance, you have to go through chat then if they can't figure it out escalation takes a few days. there are times when i need someone to remote into my computer to see what the problem is at that moment. It would be more helpful if chat could remote in to view the issue and perhaps help solve it at that time. Challenges during data migration from PC Law which require work arounds. > > I personally love using LEAP. We have used it since 2022 and I have seen a great deal of improvements. It's easy to navigate and it's easy to train new firm members on. Support is knowledgeable. Yes it is not a perfect program and they have their share of cons but so does every other platform out there.
