The updates are free and it allows me to do so much more inside of Sketchup. Initially this was a deal breaker yet after doing the trial \& seeing what it does it is worth it. > > I have been designing and building for 17 years, I took a week off with a leg injury and decided to work on improving my skills/business. I am not great with computers however I found PlusSpec easy to use. It took me less than a week to get good at it as the tutorials are built in and easy to follow. I am now drawing houses in and structurein 3D and walking my clients through them, which has essentialy allowed me to covert more work. You still need to use your builders ingenuity to finesse your estimates when it comes to preliminary and general items and waste factors. > > As an estimator familiar with other on screen takeoff systems I found this to be a quantum leap ahead. Very good \& relatively easy to learm.
