When I asked about the bolt-on feature 'automation' the chat assistants seemed quite reluctant to help and each time passed me onto the instructions which were quite daunting to me when I was brand new to the feature. They have resources available to manufacture customized processes specific to your needs. This is really useful for companies working with extremely large data sets coming from many different sources. Since they are a smaller company compared to some of the big name email marketing companies out there, they can also dedicate personal reps to each account. We have the personal emails/phone numbers of a couple email reps that we can reach out to at anytime and can expect to get a response from within a couple hours. > > **Inconvénients**: What I don't like too much about Adestra is that because it is so sophisticated, it is not very user friendly for the average person trying to do simple email marketing tasks. First off, it does not come with a simple template editor, the Adestra team creates templates for you based on what you tell them you want, and then you use those ones over and over. Secondly, the interface can be quite confusing for someone who is not already extremely comfortable with email marketing. It has been very difficult to train our employees to use it. Lastly, there are a lot of features that Adestra charges extra for, that tend to come complimentary with other email marketing softwares, such as automated reporting. > > My overall experience with Adestra has been so/so. Because we are a company that deals with extreme large sets of data, I have seen the sophisticated things they can do that standard email marketing companies cannot. On the other hand, I have noticed that they do not offer a lot of the standard options that the other companies do not.
