It gave us a chance to talk about our business goals and learn more about potential synergies. We were working with a local Development firm at that time to help us with branding and design. The team sold us on using their platform for all the built-in tools. Soon the web developers were merging their creativity with his web to print technology. PrintNow offers a complete package, support, and resources. We use Zapier and SiteFlow(OneFlow) to get data in and out of the system all day every day. PrintNow has a great dashboard for the casual employee at our print shop who just needs to be able to track and report on jobs. It also has almost all the options the designers and IT people need in the back-end to make everything work and look great. One of the best features is customer service, they're great. Always willing to lend a hand and walk you though something or just fix it quickly. > > **Inconvénients**: Some of it's strengths can be weaknesses. With all the options, it can get very complicated to get everything setup just right and as other's have mentioned, coding skills are almost mandatory for whoever is administering the site. Shipping isn't quite where I think it should be or probably where they think it should be either(Feb 2019) but integrations with a shipping service are easy enough but a baked-in solution would be better. > > PrintNow has made huge strides in the few short years we've been using it and I know they have a major updating coming in 2019. Our customers are easily able to place orders with little to no training on using the website. It allows the customer to be in full control of how they want their project to look. The administrative back end is fairly easy to maneuver as well. Processing an order is a breeze and making adjustments to our metrics (e.g. adjusting the prices or menu options) is done quick and easy. Running reports at the end of the month is also a great feature that allows us know how we are growing. > > **Inconvénients**: On the administrator side there are a few features such as the "design" mode when building the email template or updating a page (on the website) graphics that are difficult to use unless you are well versed in writing code. It wold be helpful if this were more of an InDesign or Word format feature that would allow you place graphics and format text without the need for writing code. It would also be nice if there were a character recognition feature in the image library of the clients to keep duplicate file names from being uploaded. Some of our clients upload the same image multiple times within the same image library or even load different images that have the same file name. This bogs down and can be confusing when trying to update an image in the clients library. The clients are unable to see the file name of their images in the image libraries unless they hover the mouse cursor over the image in the right spot. > > HeadShots2Go.com has been using PrintNow since 2012. PrintNow helped us design a photo retouch and customer driven headshot ordering workflow that allows us to cater specifically to the printing needs of the model and talent industry. The development work we received is one of the the most sophisticated on-line ordering systems around and meets all of our needs as well as being a breeze for our customers to navigate. It's still working in place today after thousands of online orders and continues to get better. Some of our clients are technologically challenged and the way Printnow has this software set up makes it easy for folk of different user abilities to use. The back end of the software is also very user friendly for folk to set up their pricing, to upload our design online templates, and to look at our sales \& sales tax reports. > > **Inconvénients**: The only thing we wish we could do is be able to add any additional fees that get incurred if a client wants to make a change or do something custom. Since its not a static pricing as of yet we can't incorporate this into the site, but Printnow is always advancing that perhaps in the future\! > > Our overall experience has been great with Printnow.
