Escalations can involve repeated scripted apologies but limited ownership, clear timelines, or proactive communication. Inventory receiving and warehouse communication need significant improvement. When stock is delayed or misplaced, the merchant is left repeatedly following up while orders, revenue, and customer relationships are affected. When errors occur, it can be difficult to find someone who will take direct ownership and drive the matter through to resolution. Too often, the response has focused on standard timelines rather than the commercial impact on our business.
