As far as I am aware, no other tool on the market has an eSource-enabled (direct data-entry) feature that has been used successfully for FDA submissions and/or approvals. As well, the staff at Target Health provide the truly outstanding customer service. > > **Inconvénients**: I would like to see the addition of ad hoc reporting or data interrogation. While the tool does come with very useful "canned" reports, and can be easily further customized with additional reports, having the ability to support on-the-fly, ad hoc, data interrogation would help tremendously. > > One of the chief benefits of real-time access to data is the ability to make better decisions faster. Further, one simply cannot do effective risk-based monitoring (RBM) in the absence of timely data. The software makes clinical research much more efficient. Less on site monitoring, less source document verification, less transcription error and human error.....basically the Target Health software reduces the human part of data entry and monitoring thus saving sponsors significant costs. > > **Inconvénients**: I do not have any items about the software that I do not like the least. For improvements, I think that a "new user" training or introduction to Target's software would be beneficial because not all colleagues in clinical research have used this type of software in the past.
