The ability for Intuit to restore a prior version is questionable at best, and from what I hear it takes many hours on the phone and a lot of persistence if it happens at all. Then, you have to re-do all of the work that was done between the restore point (if you are lucky enough for Intuit to find one for you) and when the loss occurred. Rewind avoids the need for this stress by providing regular backups of your QBO data, and I am told that restoring data to a given point in time is ludicrously easy (fortunately I have never had to test this). > > **Inconvénients**: Absolutely nothing. The software is affordable, easy to use, and fills an essential role that would otherwise go unmet. > > I am fortunate to never have needed to ask Rewind to restore data for me, so my interaction with the service has been limited to setting up my books and those of clients and forgetting about it.
