### "Campspot customer service sadly no longer exists" — 1.0/5

> **Avantages**: Easy to use software for our campground (85 sites), online bookings relatively simple for guest use. Staff find it easy, simple learning curve.

> **Inconvénients**: Customer service is terrible, 5-7 day response time, if we do get a response, it is not complete/helpful, and we have to draft same question/emails again. We have lost trust in Campspot that if we need help or assistance with any kind of set up, issues, it won't be there for us. The price goes up every year and the customer service (which we really need only a few times/year) has declined completely. We pay thousands/year for this software and the value is no longer there for us with this lack of support. We don't need support often, just with our seasonal set up, and this year especially we have been ghosted when we have reached out with some basic set up questions.

> Our campground has used Campsot for 5.5 years. Support was great for the first few years, and we were really happy with the software and customer service, but over the last 2 years especially it has declined completely, to almost zero support.  It has been a shock for us and our staff, and quite nerve wracking not having assistance when needed. On average when we email the support line it is a 5-7 day response time and then if we get a response it is barely helpful, and the thread is dropped by the support team, with no proper answers or follow up. As a small business when we need support it is critical to our business as all our bookings flow through Campspot. We are beyond disappointed and shocked with the lack of customer service. The price of Campspot keeps going up but the value keeps going down. We don't need that much customer service as we are quite familiar with the software, so feel we don't ask for much so it is disappointing and unsettling.

> **Avantages**: I like the way the system is easy to learn and operate. It’s also easy for people booking online. They do seem to be working on new features all the time. &#10;The customer service has been amazing\! They have been so helpful every time I can’t figure something out in my own\!

> **Inconvénients**: I do wish they would add a feature list where you see all the options to enter number of adults, children and pets, all visible in a row.   It would save a lot of asking later and people then being upset because there is a fee for pets. &#10;Also a drag and drop feature on the grid would be super helpful.

> **Avantages**: -This system is so intuitive and easy to use, and I keep learning more features every time I use it.&#10;-Very clean and visually appealing.&#10;-All of the reporting is incredibly helpful and provides so much insight to our bookings.&#10;-Allows for quick and easy changes to the rates, rules, and other item details that allows us to stay agile.&#10;-The reservations grid automatically optimizes bookings to maximize revenue.&#10;-The lock-in fees allows customers to lock-in to their specific site wanted and also increases our revenue.&#10;-A very cool feature is also the Add-On grid, which allows customers to add on additional options like golf carts, cabanas, hot tubs, etc, while also allows our reservations people monitor the inventory of those items.&#10;-Fantastic customer support who not only helps with all of our questions, but also uses feedback to develop new and better features.&#10;-Been a fantastic experience so far, and our park employees have had great experiences with the system.

Campspot had a number of features that were not available nor integrated into the reservation system I currently used. I had excellent assistance during conversion and the database from my old system was easily brought into Campspot.

> **Inconvénients**: I think that the reservation cancellation process is confusing in terms of how to return money to customers.

> **Inconvénients**: I absolutely hate how long it takes to receive a callback from anyone at Campspot. They always seem to be short staffed. They are always promising the on boarding of more customer service staff, and they are always taking several days (sometimes weeks) to return our calls. Additionally, for a campground reservation system to not have a helpline, or anyone answering the phones, especially during peak check-in hours is absurd. If there was a better software solution out there, we would jump ship in a heartbeat.

> Our overall experience with Campspot is not a positive one. While there are a few shining stars at campspot… extremely knowledgeable and helpful individuals (\[sensitive content hidden\], etc.), generally speaking, we are frustrated with Campspot on a regular basis. No one answers the phone. Callbacks take far too long… days or even weeks and the auto messages frequently ask if you want to hold or get a call back. When I asked to hold, I am then put into voicemail anyway. Why leave a message if no one is going to call me back until I've solved the problem myself or figured out a workaround. To be honest, we are just biding our time until a better reservation system comes along.
