I was a little apprehensive because I liked the product and price point but it was not very well known at the time. We use an appliance on-premise but Jatheon seamlessly upgraded me to the next level when I out-grew the old unit. It is so easy to use and It has a lot of flexibility when I do searches. The searches are very fast and I've always been able to find what I needed. Jatheon support has always been responsive when I needed help with a search or configuration change, or to just do a health check on our system. It's been a very good investment for our company and I'd recommend it to any small business. > > **Inconvénients**: The newer appliance is much easier to use than the previous but I have one comment. When logging in to do administrative tasks, the placement of the administrative functions is on the bottom left. Took me forever to realize that. I think I had to put in a call looking for how to get to it then when they told me I felt a little embarrassed. It's more intuitive for me to find a link on a top navigation bar - that's my only complaint. > > We needed something to automatically archive our emails and only retain them for 5 years that had a robust search capability. It needed to sync with AD and give users an easy way to search their own archives. It is mostly used, though by our CEO who is looking or certain email subjects and wants to confirm when certain emails are sent. We don't need anything fancy but the restore capabilities are flexible and do everything we need it to do.
