We're a service provider with a mixed estate (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, XCP-ng and Sangfor HCI) and Vinchin backs all of them up agentlessly from one console. Very few products do that without a second license or agents inside every guest. Value for money is excellent: per-socket licensing is transparent and costs a fraction of Veeam or Commvault for the same host count. The learning curve is short — clean web console, self-explanatory job wizards, first jobs running the same day. Instant VM recovery has genuinely saved us, bringing a failed VM back online straight from the backup repository in minutes. Support is responsive and technically competent. > > **Inconvénients**: Logging is the weak point. When a job fails the log rarely tells you why, so you open a ticket for something you should be able to diagnose yourself. Documentation for advanced scenarios is thin. It isn't a Veeam replacement in every respect, observability, reporting and multi-tenant tooling are clearly less mature, and you feel that when something breaks. But for a heterogeneous environment on a budget the trade-off is worth it.
