There is a big variety of features that enhance the development process and add sustainability to the development environments when needed. Seamless integration with different code hosting platforms (Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket) makes it easy to use even when projects are located on different platforms. > > **Inconvénients**: The product is complex and enables a big variety of applications/usage scenarios. Flexibility is definitely an advantage but it doesn't come without a consequence. For setting up tricky configurations, it might be necessary to read the product's documentation carefully first. > > I've been using Squash for a while now and I absolutely love it. With Squash, our team has finally gotten rid of the overhead of managing our own development environments. A distributed team comprised of people from different time zones can now work on separate features without experiencing any synchronization problems. In the past, some of the teammates used to struggle with setting up their projects locally. We now use Squash to deploy many environments for our internal needs, and Squash handles it really well. Spinning up a demo of a new feature is now a matter of a few minutes. We are yet to try it, but according to the documentation, it's even possible to integrate and use Squash as CI, running the test suites and having it all in one place. And before Squash, I deploy it on a VM on my machine. I know there is other to do that. But, for me, Squash offers me the possibility to do that in less than five minutes. I will explore more deployment template for other use cases. There is plenty of them. For example, I need Linux environment to test some features and improve my skills.
