> **Avantages**: Initially was excited about making submittals and process match competitors. It was slightly more economical than their competitors.

> **Inconvénients**: Failed implementation, unresponsive support after acquisition, persistent disputed billing, and aggressive collections despite documented cancellation.

> I paid approximately $18,000 in 2024 for Comsense Enterprise ERP to run our architectural openings distribution business. After a full year of trying to implement it (with repeated support issues), I stopped logging in September 2024 and formally requested cancellation in December 2024. We paid every invoice through November 2024.Following the September 2024 acquisition by Advantive, the situation deteriorated significantly. Advantive continued billing us for December 2024 through February 2025 despite our cancellation notice and lack of any usage or support. I disputed the post-cancellation invoices in writing, explaining we would not pay for services not rendered, but made clear we were not refusing legitimate charges.For over a year afterward, Advantive’s AR team sent repeated threatening emails every couple of months. Each time I responded with the full timeline and proof of payment/cancellation. In March 2026 they removed the January and February 2025 invoices but left November and December 2024. I replied promptly (after ~1 month) with all documentation, confirmed willingness to pay the November invoice, and requested at minimum a prorated December charge since we had already canceled.Instead of any good-faith discussion, Advantive escalated to a collection agency this week. I called their AR lead yesterday (April 2026) and was read a legal script with zero willingness to review the facts or negotiate. “Hands tied” was repeated multiple times.Comsense/Advantive never delivered usable software despite significant investment and effort on our end. The post-acquisition billing and collections process has been unprofessional and damaging. I cannot recommend this product or company to any distributor in our industry.
