Basic user functions like project creation, spend loading and business project reporting is efficient. The in-built approval matrix and account categories are also very flexible and a great time saver. > > **Inconvénients**: Detailed financial analysis is limited. The ROI calculations are very manual and not able to be reconciled to a manual replication. Depreciation features are limited and rigid. Forecasting is very manual and prior month data can't be locked making it prone to manual error after the period has closed. > > The Finario team are extremely professional, attentive and supportive. We've been able to onboard users very quickly thanks to the intuitive system interface and overall had great success. For each project we can attach quotes from suppliers, financial justifications and similar files. This is in addition to the basic information for a project such as description, expected operating life, rationale for the project and spend projection (forecast) plus actuals. It's all in there so the details can be added to the project over time and retained as a historic record of the project for future use in predicting costs for other similar projects. > > **Inconvénients**: The only thing my organization has wanted to see improvement on is reporting and there is much currently in progress for better, real-time reporting. > > Finario has been important for our organization to move from paper and manual signatures to a workflow process. With multiple locations and the need for signatures from more than one location this was critical. We have, over time moved from using the system primarily for the workflow to handling our annual (and 5 year plan) budgeting process. We have also used past projects to estimate future projects that are similar.
