Making call sheets is incredibly easy as all the information is always available, auto-populates, and can be conveniently formatted. The virtual strip charts are also very easy to use and provide a very fast way to organize shoot days. > > **Inconvénients**: It was a little hard to figure out the exact workflow at the beginning, but once I understood how the various sections relate it got much easier. The software is very thorough and as every production is a little different, it does require some thinking and planning at the beginning. The staff is very helpful and provides a good orientation that helps a lot. Support is extremely responsive -- there is a comment box that you can activate anytime and drop a note, which makes it easy for users to get help. Very good system. Also does a great job importing scripts. > > Biggest benefit for me has been in scheduling and call sheets. That alone makes Yamdu worth having. It's easy to keep track with the different tasks and to check which one needs to be done next etc..I did really enjoy the connectivity between the different departments and the tools to keep track of all the different things. > > **Inconvénients**: Sometimes it's a kind of tricky to know which change in which tap has to be done to get the result you want to have, but after some time you understand the workflow, and it gets easier to work around some of the small issues. Sometimes the accuracy of the breakdown function gets a bit in the way. As an example: If you break down the costume and you highlight some of the things which are special about a particular scene, only those are shown in the call sheet. All the basic stuff (the normal costume, which isn't highlighted again in the scene) isn't on the call sheet.
