Apparently there are some common codes hidden in some old version plugins which attackers are probing them continuously. It is also the usual attack type to get your login screen and try to log into your site as the administrator. Creating spam comments looks the most simple malicious action among others. Keep in mind that all these attacks are coming from automated tools and repeating thousands times. WP Cerber Security has all the required precautions to prevent them.
