Instead, the learning curve and time spent hunting for basic functions offset any promised benefits.Initial communication was responsive and upbeat. After we signed on, follow-up dropped off. When we needed help the most post-onboarding and during real workflows—responses slowed and solutions felt generic rather than hands-on. &#10;The interface feels busy and unintuitive. Too many clicks for simple tasks, and navigation isn’t obvious. Day-to-day actions (building estimates, updating ROs, juggling parts \&amp; labor) take longer than they should. It’s hard to get new staff comfortable without heavy training.&#10;There are plenty of features on paper. The problem is discoverability and practicality. Advanced options don’t help if basic actions aren’t fast and intuitive. We spent more time figuring out how to use features than benefiting from them.&#10;Tekmetric looks powerful, but the complexity, weak follow-through after onboarding, and everyday friction outweighed the benefits for our shop. Unless your team has time to climb a steep learning curve and you’re confident support will be consistently responsive we can’t recommend it.

> **Avantages**: What I like most about the sofware is the ability to implement detail inspections with video inspections.  The software has a lot of great features and seems to be cutting edge and constantly undergo improvement. It seems to be the number one software that shops are mirgrating to.

> **Inconvénients**: What I liked least was it was difficult to learn and didn't seem intuitive enough.  The period of time that we had to do tutorials and learn the system was not long enough for me.  The other item is the labor guide employed by Tekmetric. There are a lot of comments that the labor time is too low on many jobs.  You don't like having to bounce around and verify labor times.

> My overall experience with Tekmetric is that I would love to have the program operating in my shop but I found it too hard to implement under current circumstances with the current work force. I was 67 years old and just found it too exhausting so we gave up and went back to our previous system. If I don't get out of the business I make take a future crack at it again. Hopefully I will have better staff to help me if I do and since Tekmetric is constantly tweaking the product it may be easier to implement then.

> **Avantages**: The thing I love the most about Tekmetric is how quickly new hires can be proficient with the system. It is truly intuitive and anyone that can operate a web browser can be up and running the first day and fluent within a week.

> **Inconvénients**: Honestly, most of my pain points have been fixed. I started with Tekmetric when it was in beta and back then there were some significant weaknesses but they have been addressed. I really do not have an complaints. Probably the only think I miss even a little bit is integration with service info.

> Going to cloud based software was a game-changer. My entire team now uses the software and relies on it for information sharing. We simply couldn't do that before. We were always chasing paper, looking for notes, digging in file cabinets, etc. The integrated DVI has solved all those problems and strengthened our customer's trust in our processes and integrity.
