Description de Memtime

Excellent resource for tracking time
Commentaires : I have confidence that my billing to clients is accurate and fair. Overall, our receipts have grown by over 30% since using TimeBro. We were using another product previously, which was a manual time recorder. TimeBro takes all the effort and does it automatically for you.
Avantages :
TimeBro makes sure we keep all of our hours logged and can recover time spent on client work. It logs all the activity on your computer and presents it in an easy-to-read and drill-down format. Our billing has increased by over 30% since we started using it. instead of having to remember what you spent time on and recreate estimates, TimeBro has it all logged for you.
Inconvénients :
I use multiple computers for different functions, and I would have liked to be able to capture time spent on my laptop and time on my desktop working on the same project. But I understand the security and confidentiality that makes this difficult
Finally - Tracking my actual hours
Commentaires : Finally a tool that deletes the guesswork and assists you (and actually helps) with time tracking. My billable hours went up plus I was able to analyze my habits, cut back on certain tasks and I no longer have to guess how much time a task actually cost me.
Avantages :
I purchased timeBro because I kept forgetting to log my hours. At the end of the week I was guessing more than actually knowing how much hours I put in every project/client. I was actually suprised (not in a pleasant way) how much some tasks took to complete. Using the statistics to analyze my time, I have managed to make adjustments and cut time in my ways of working. So much insight since using timeBro & no guesswork is no longer needed!
Inconvénients :
I would love to have the choice to change something to the memory aid. It shows the total amount of time and then the percentages of the specific tasks. I would prefer the actual time tracking instead of %. So that I can log the actual time per task instead of needing to figure this out myself.

Hi Bianca, thanks for your review. We are glad to hear that timeBro helps you with billing all your hours. I will forward your idea with the memory aid detail. If you have any further remarks please contact [email protected].
Unethical business model
Commentaires : Terrible customer care, unethical licensing model.
Avantages :
I think it's working ok, but stopped using it after some time.
Inconvénients :
The licensing business model is based on the bet on users forgetting when the renewal period is. I myself stopped using it and after a year I was billed for renewal (for two more years) even though I was not using it at all. I immediately canceled my subscription but was refused the refund. I think that in today's word its fair to bill your customers for using your software, and many solid companies do it its way. If you product is good, customers won't cancel.
Outstanding product. I'm so glad I found it.
Commentaires : It has allowed me to make smarter decisions in regards to my time. Were the 10 minutes spent on social media worth it? How long does it take me to write my weekly newsletter? Well, it turns out that it takes longer than I thought. How long does it usually take me to research a new fantastical setting and what were the sites that helped me do that most efficiently? I know now because I have a history of time spent. These data have made it possible for me to know just how much time I can expect to burn on a short story (so I can say yes or no to an invite) and decide if it's worth the cost to my ongoing novels and projects. It has made me realize that word-count alone is not a reliable metric and that's why no matter how many 2000-word days I got in, there seemed to be so little actual story progress (hint: it's because typing is not writing). It has helped me pinpoint which part of the day to spend doing the brain-heavy stuff and which parts are better left for those times/days when I am lagging.
Avantages :
I love the fact that it allows me track which apps and documents I work in. At any one time I may have my manuscript open in Scrivener, 10 browser tabs for doing research, social media interaction and so on, as well as project management software like Aeon Timeline, and chat apps with other authors or with readers. I feel like I'm going in a dozen different directions at once because I am. I used to try to keep track of how much time I actually spent writing, but it was impossible to parse out that after ten minutes of writing/typing I'd open up a search window so I could look at a picture of futuristic furniture on Pinterest to put into the scene I was working on. TimeBro captures my hopping between actual writing and other stuff (like looking at images or figuring out what someone looks like). It helped me distinguish between productive writing sessions and unproductive ones, as well as how much of an impact my editing process had on final word count. Now I know that the next time I have a 120K-word manuscript edited it will probably take me 50 hours to go over the edits, because now I have a way to track that. Same with the time spent on copyedits, going over alpha-reads, galleys, and so on. I had no clue how much time I was spending on these other-than-writing activities before. Not even close.
Inconvénients :
I do wish I could track the time spent in individual scenes (sub-documents) in Scrivener so I could know how long a specific scene took to write and that it would auto-assign categories based on which document or app I was in. I'm hoping those features will be available soon.
timebro is a winner for businesses that sell time
Commentaires : Timebro has been a revelation for our company and has eliminated a lot of unconverted time. We knew that there was a lot of time being worked that wasnt being posted and Timebro has helped to reduce this, by making the task of booking time so much simpler.
Avantages :
Timebro is a time/work tracking application that watches what I am doing and allows me to easily convert work into time entries. It is a must have for any business that sells time, like IT support, lawyers, accountants etc. Timebro integrates with Outlook and several other project and time management platforms such as Autotask and Jira. The key feature is 'memory aid' section on the left side of the screen which includes a timeline of my activities and my calendar appointments. Timebro records my activities during the day and then builds a timeline in increments of ranging from seconds to hours, depending on how much detail you need in your time tracking. The right side of the screen is available for new time entries and this is very quick and simple. If you has synced your Timebro with a platform such as Autotask or Jira, you will see a list of your assigned tasks and tickets and which you can link your time entries to. Once done, you can sync your time entries back to your ERP or PM app.
Inconvénients :
The is little not to like. Some more detailed reporting might be useful, although I can get this out of Jira or Autotask. I get asked to sign in a little more often than I would like. As far as the Autotask integration with Timebro is concerned, time entries can't be booked against regular time items, only against tickets and tasks.
