All our procedures are now on the Starling system which means staff always have access to the current versions of the documents they need via any computer or by the tablets located around site. This has massively helped with more staff working from home as they don't have to be on site to access our procedures. Another feature our staff have found useful is the ability to include videos onto the procedures. Showing how something is performed has been a lot easier than trying to explain it in text. > > **Inconvénients**: Documents have to be allocated by area and not to individual members of staff. For the most part this isn't an issue as in production area this works really well. Its more an issue for multidiscipline departments such as our quality department where staff have more individual roles. > > Using Starling has massively cut down the amount of paper we use for documents on site as we no longer print them out. With easy access via computer (and tablet for production areas) its not needed. It also means that only the current version of a document is accessible so our staff are not reading out of date procedures.
