### "An Absolute Must for Scaled/Industrial Use of Capella for MBSE" — 5.0/5

> **Avantages**: The auto, fine-grained lock-out/check-out sort of functionality that goes below the granularity of model-file works like a charm - this is the primary function of the add-on.  When choosing to use Capella as the MBSE product for an organization, Team For Capella is an absolute MUST HAVE to have a scaled usage.   The alternative (Capella's built-in diff/merg) is not scalable for prolonged multi-user capella file access.

> **Inconvénients**: The tool has a high reliance on a fast connection to the server which houses the actual model - this was a non-issue when we were working co-located with the server (in the office).  Switching to WFH as a result of COVID required our IT team to set-up VMs/computers at the office to remote-into.

> **Avantages**: The key feature is the ability to set up Capella models for multiple team member access.  A secondary benefit is the projects are stored onto a server repository that gets hourly and daily backups.
> 
> **Inconvénients**: Probably the one feature that is lacking is the management and use of Capella Libraries within Team for Capella.  When you want projects to access a common library all the projects and the library must be shared to the Team for Capella repository at the same time as a set.  This makes managing common access a little more difficult.  As an example, a new modeling project is started and you desire to have it access this common library repository, you would need to restart the sharing to the repository with the existing projects, the new project, and the library.  At least this is how I understand the current capability for version 1.4.2.

> Very positive.  The upfront investment and maintenance costs are very reasonable for the value we receive.

> **Avantages**: We use Team for Capella on regular basis to lecture Systems Engineering. We organize the group of students in sessions to enable the collaborative work of creating a system design. T4C allowed us to switch from spreadsheet based examples to model based examples and enabled a proper use of the model based systems engineering languages (Arcadia-Capella in this case).
> 
> **Inconvénients**: None, works as I was expecting. The tool is intuitive and works transparently in the Capella IDE.
> 
> We solved the issue of implementing MBSE in our lectures regarding the student collaboration. We had implemented a cloud based spreadsheet, where the students collaborated in systems design (requirements, functions, so on), with T4C it allowed to perform the Systems Engineering, and Concurrent Engineering, labs with a hands-on collaborative approach.

- Mise en place de Jenkins pour la sauvegarde de versions moins intuitive
- M2Doc incompatible avec un modèle partagé (nécessité de passer par une version locale)

> Le collaboratif est un aspect non négligeable, un véritable gain de temps en équipe, et permet également de s'assurer que toute l'équipe travaille bien sur la dernière version du modèle.
