I did try a couple off the shelf boxed solutions but they just didn't seem to fit my needs. I came across Billings For Mac very soon after opening my web design business and I have never looked back. With the recent cloud based workflow it has even further enhanced my current workflows. Having my desktop and devices all synced together means that Billings Pro works where I work. I can see myself continuing to use Billings Pro for many years to come. It's easy to locate old invoices by clicking on client names in the left sidebar, and invoice templates can be modified to fit your branding. > > **Inconvénients**: The interface is very dated, with old-school OS X floating windows and skeuomorphic design. Invoice templates are extremely difficult to edit, often feeling more like web design than simple template-editing. Timers are in very small floating windows with tiny fonts, and it can be easy to forget that you have a timer running. Overall, it's starting to feel like abandonware. > > My graphic design teacher first recommended Billings Pro as the only software he found that could cover a designer's needs; especially estimates and time-tracking. I used Billings Pro for years, but found it increasingly cumbersome and outdated.
