> **Avantages**: I’ve been using Manex for over 5 years. This is actually the only program I’ve used since starting in the contract manufacturing industry.

### "Manex / Cube - not ready for the real world" — 1.0/5

> **Avantages**: Manex / Cube does a good job keeping track of various manufacturers and manufacturer part numbers and the relationship to internal part numbers across many customers.  The old Manex desktop software supposedly has been working for lots of years, but the newest product "Cube" is not ready.
> 
> **Inconvénients**: Manex released a partial web-based product that wasn't working, lots of bugs and glitches.  There is a desktop portion and a web browser portion.  We worked for 18 months trying to implement, but never got a stable, functional piece of software.  We finally had to give up.  The support team is pretty good, the management/owners are terrible.  They denied even knowing that there were lots of problems with the software.  There is no quoting portion.  It takes a lot of mouse clicks to get to where you need to go.  Also, there is no continuity in the look and action icons throughout the various functions.  The document they shared during the sales cycle had lots of features and functions that are not in the delivered product.

> Initially, good.  We feel we ended up being their test group that they relied on to find the problems with the software.  They didn't know what hardware to recommend, and if you don't have huge processor power, the system is unbearably slow.  We never got software that works and had to abandon implementation.  There are lots of quirks that don't make sense like the lead time calculations:  "1 week" is treated as 5 calendar days, but "5 days" is treated as one business week.  So if you say your lead time for a component is "3 weeks", the MRP will calculate that as 15 calendar days - very weird.  Almost none of the import tools worked.  Some things would get fixed, and others would break - they do no regressive testing before releasing patches.  We determined that we could not trust Manex/Cube to run our business.
