The "Frozen" UI \&amp; Dated Experience&#10;&#10;The interface is frequently the first point of failure for new users.&#10;&#10;Legacy Look and Feel: Unlike modern SaaS tools that prioritize "clean" design, Varicent’s UI remains heavy on spreadsheets and complex tables. It feels more like a 2010 financial modeling tool than a 2026 business application.&#10;Slow and painful user experience.&#10;Steep Learning Curve: Because the UI isn't intuitive, simple tasks like finding a specific performance metric, often require multiple clicks or specialized training.&#10;&#10;2. The "Real-Time" Mirage&#10;&#10;One of the most significant pain points is the lack of true real-time visibility into targets and commissions.&#10;&#10;Batch Processing Lag: Many users report that targets and payouts aren't updated instantly. Instead, they rely on "calculation runs" that can happen overnight or even weekly.&#10;&#10;Shadow Accounting: Because sales reps can't see their progress in real-time, they often resort to keeping their own manual spreadsheets to track what they think they are owed, which defeats the purpose of having a centralized system.

> **Inconvénients**: The software is highly configurable but it takes a high skill set to manage, build complex calculations etc.  It can be difficult to triage issues when numbers don't come out as expected.

> Varicent has helped us automate our commission calculation process, saving time and providing our sales force with daily performance information.  Overall I am very satisfied with our Varicent experience.
