So you need the desktop after all. I rely on desktop anyway but it is shocking that in this day and age, Zoho does not get mobile experience right.

Zoho Mail is a powerful solution, but it can be a bit tricky
Excellent pour les mails sécurisés.
Avantages :
An incredible email management system with amazing features
Commentaires : It helps us with email management ( chatting and marketing). It's quite super easy to manage. I highly recommend it.
Avantages :
We currently use Zoho Mail Solutions as our email management system. It's cheap and easy to use. From domain verification to mailbox creation- It's super easy to use.It works pretty much like Gmail with the exception that it offers more advanced email automation features than Gmail.Notifications are sent in a timely manner, the user interface is rich in texture and design. There are great themes to play around with. I can customize the default email templates or autoresponders and many more.It also offers user account security like two-factor authentication.
Inconvénients :
I think the admin console can be difficult to locate sometimes. There are too many features in the user dashboard. While this might not be a big deal, for a new user it can be challenging.Secondly, all external images from emails are hidden by default and I need to enable them manually by clicking on "display now" before they show up. It's frustrating.
Zoho provides a rich suite of office software that just works from day 1.
Commentaires : Overall my experience with Zoho Mail has been better than I expected. I am convinced that it is of business class quality.
Avantages :
* SETUP AND ADMINISTRATION: The Zoho Mail software service was a breeze to set up through the intuitive online portal. While you have a powerful authority and control oveer the technical details of your configuration, the administration portal gives a balanced level of abstraction and sensible default parameters to make the setup process quick and easy. * EASE OF USE, OPEN STANDARDS AND EXTENDED FEATURES: Zoho does not get in your way. All the standard protocol options are available, which makes this solution compatible with any mail user client software you prefer to use, from any web browser or the optional cross platform downloadable Zoho email client, or any standard mail (POP/SMTP) client you wish. There are no proprietary nor complicated modifications to the standard mail protocols. * SELF SERVICE AND DEPENDABLE The entire platform is self service from advanced administration and configuration, to daily usage at the user level. I have never had to call tech support in all the years I have been using the service, and I have never noticed any disruption to service nor any issue with availability of the service. * SECURITY OPTIONS: There are several methods supported for keeping your mail secure so only authorized access is granted once authenticated. Basic auth, multi-factor, and others if I recall correctly. There are options to delegate administrative rights to users as needed also. Im summary, Zoho does not restrict the control you have over your email service and provides straight forward options for managing your service, is consistently reliable, and rich in features that you can add or remove yourself, as needed. It just works!
Inconvénients :
Disclosure: I am using the personal entry level offering from Zoho. This makes the service all the more impressive to me, because it has continued flawlessly for years in my case, as if I were on a bigger business plan with strict SLA's. I might be mistaken, but I believe Zoho had all of this functionality and powerful control long before any of the bigger names in email services did, and even today I believe the others will be more expensive to unlock the features Zoho provides out of the box on the entry level plan.
Zoho Mail is not good.
Commentaires : I'm very unsatisfied. The new features they've added seem designed to waste customers' time. Instead of making things easier, they’ve only made the process more complicated.
Avantages :
It’s extremely difficult to sign in—the passwordless sign-in methods often crash, making it feel like winning the lottery when you actually manage to log in.
Inconvénients :
so far nothing I like it, I am trying to sign in the account for this whole week, but unluckily I still can not sign in.
Alternatives envisagées :
Great mail software
Commentaires : I feel very satisfied, and have been working with it for over 5 years and haven't had an issue
Avantages :
Easy to work with, it's very intuitive, and has a great response
Inconvénients :
So far haven't had a problem with it, it works very good
Gmail service
Commentaires : It's a service similar to Gmail but more affordable.
Avantages :
It's very reliable. I use it with a personal domain name, and it very affordable in comparison to others. Once you get this up and running it's stable.
Inconvénients :
I have to think really hard for this. I use this service with my whole household. Maybe the email quota which gives 5GB per mailbox is not a lot.
Effortless Email Migration from Rediff Mail to Zoho Mail comes with native beautifully designed Mobile App
Commentaires : Managing organizational email has become a breeze with Zoho Mail's centralized Admin console. I can confidently say that Zoho Mail is one of the best email service providers.
Avantages :
When I joined my organization, we were using Rediff mail, which had many security issues and didn't have native mobile access. So, we decided to move from Rediff mail. The whole process to Zoho Mail was seamless. Domain customization setup was extremely easy with no data loss. additionally, my team can use their email on their smartphone.
Inconvénients :
Some of the more advanced functionalities are only available in the higher-tier plans for which you have to spend more. However, the basic features of the Mail Lite Plan of Zohomail still provide everything you need for effective communication and management.
Excellent business-level control of Email
Avantages :
Easy full control of all accounts. Great Security features.
Inconvénients :
Nothing really. A Linux app would be nice.
It;s good and worthy using Zoho Mail
Commentaires : It's a bit challenging at first, then things go smoothly, when I het used to with the system.
Avantages :
Visually- convenient tracking emails with three columns
Inconvénients :
The email and administrative functions (mail-admin and domain management) are not in the same interface, I have to browse two websites. I was confused setting up domain. More on-site instructions (while setting up email) be provided to user, for example, when I log-in Zoho the first time with my own domain email, it instructs me something like "a password has been sent to your email for your login". I could not log-in because I have terminated my email service before.
Dependable email hosting
Commentaires : Great. Long time back, (15 years) I used Zoho mail for a friend. That time itself, they provided free service with best options
Avantages :
a honest email service. dependable service
Inconvénients :
All seems good. Now only started using.
Zoho Mail: Budget-Friendly with Limitations
Commentaires : Zoho Mail's pricing and email templates make it a best and cost-effective choice for small and medium-sized business. Its connectivity with other Zoho products is an huge advantage. However, its limited storage and slow email sync might be inconvenient, and its automation functions are not user friendly to create.
Avantages :
Number one advantage is about the cost. Its more affordable for small and medium size business to implement. Around 1 dollar per user with 5gb storage is a great option to start with. Also their email template options are a good addition. Since zoho has wide verity of product option, we can integrate them easily here.
Inconvénients :
Though the initial package is an advantage, the storage capacity is a small amount. occasionally I feel the email sync is not that fast. I personally feel the automation building is not easy to work with.
A very useful and free email and calendar solution for those with a custom domain
Commentaires : Overall my experience with Zoho Mail has been very positive. Its integration with a custom domain was easy, seamless and free which is the real highlight in my experience. It is fast, responsive and comes with a plethora of features and functions that improve the experience. It is clear that they have focused on giving value to their users which is appreciated. I can certainly recommend Zoho Mail for both business and personal use.
Avantages :
There are several things I like about using Zoho Mail. Firstly, Zoho allows you to create your own email solution for free using a custom domain. I set up a custom domain on a domain registrar and I searched for a free email solution that let you use your new domain. Zoho Mail was the email solution I chose as the instructions for setting it up for use with a custom domain were very easy and quick to set up. In addition, email hosting using Zoho with your domain is also free, which is a huge plus. I also like that Zoho Mail features several other functions in its email client - including Calendar, Notes, Contacts and Tasks. All of which are useful and make Zoho Mail even better and more intuitive to use. As an email client, it is also extremely quick and responsive as should be expected from a decent email client. I also like that Zoho Mail has a mobile app that integrates seamlessly with your account and sends notifications and functions exactly how you'd expect a mobile email client app to work. In addition, Zoho also has a huge range of preferences, settings and view options to tinker with to customise your experience which is appreciated. Though it can take quite a while to set everything to your liking. Also, as a small aside, Zoho Mail doesn't include any ads whatsoever, which is appreciated.
Inconvénients :
What I like least about Zoho Mail is its user interface. It is not bad by any means and it's fairly clean and intuitive to use - however, it can seem a bit alien and unfamiliar. Coming from other email clients like Outlook and Gmail, Zoho's interface is not as intuitive as these and is missing some shortcuts that I've grown familiar with on other email clients. However, once you grow familair with the interface and how Zoho Mail works, it is perfectly fine for everyday use and could well become your go-to email solution.

An affordable communication suite, practical for very small upto medium organisations
Commentaires : Zoho has been an affordable email and collaboration suite that just does the job it meant to do. It serves well a single freelancer working alone as well as a medium enterprise with multiple users and departments. If you go beyond its capabalities, then you can probably afford the next best albeit expensive options. If you can work entirely on the web it is very versatile. The support provided is also more than you will get from most other service providers, especially if you dont have a dedicated IT team.
Avantages :
Beyond the initial setup which required a bit of knowledge, there is rarely anything else that will stump an low tech user. Working with Email and other collaboration features is simple and straight forward. There was no issue with spam as it is able to catch and categorise correctly 98% of the time.
Inconvénients :
If you use an email client like outlook, which is the most popular for business users, you loose out on all the collaboration features which are only available on browser access.
Powerful and Easy to Use Email
Commentaires :
This solved my problem with spam control, and more reliable email delivery.
Zoho Mail is a powerful, yet easy to use email service that provides a number of features for me as business (and private consumer) user. It offers excellent scalability, making it perfect for businesses with large volumes of email traffic. You can also use Zoho Mail to create and send newsletters, as well as manage your contact lists. The service integrates well with other Zoho applications, making it easy to keep all of your data in one place. I migrated all email accounts from cPanel services, which was an incredible bonus! If you're looking for an affordable and reliable email service for your business, Zoho Mail is definitely worth considering.
Avantages :
It's easy to scale as business and the number of employees grows. Also it handles large volumes of email very well. Just about the best anti-spam email every used (in my opinion). When needed, it's easy to integrate with other Zoho (and outside third party) applications. Super easy to migrate cPanel based email to this product. Also... It's ridiculously affordable!
Inconvénients :
It would be nice if there was a more initiative UI to authenticate custom domain names. It's not difficult, but can be a bit fiddly to do for someone that has no knowledge.
Alternatives envisagées :
Best email solution for Startup
Commentaires : It's an years of trust and still going on! We never had any situation to contact the support for addressing any issue.
Avantages :
I am using Zoho Mail for years now and there was no issue at all. The mail delivery is good, less spam and can control everything at Control Panel. Easy to use and configure for Admins in terms of management, Security features, multi-domain email hosting, Domain name striping (really good feature), Mobile App with basic management feature, Email Groups, SPAM control etc. We haven't experienced any mail drops or mail reputation issue so far ( 3-4 years). Another advantage with Zoho is the integration with other Zoho App and 3rd party applications.
Inconvénients :
Easy to use and easy to configure for admins. It would be good if some more features are added in Zoho Mail Admin mobile app.
Quite good with email management tools
Commentaires : I have use Zoho Mail for managing my domain email, setting it up is really easy as there are many guides and manual provided by this software to make it work. Up for 5 business email id is free to register and that is enough for me for my own domain without having to pay for its premium plan and i really happy to be able using it for free but with premium feature.
Avantages :
Zoho Mail is one of the top software that has good tools that offer a free email management, also for managing business email. I really like that i can customized and editing keyword for the spam filters, so the legit email coming from legit business email address can be white-flag and landing to my primary inbox.
Inconvénients :
Mobile application for Zoho Mail is less responsive unlike the desktop application. It just won't automatically synchronized my emails and i need to manually refresh the application for it to start showing my new emails. I don't know if it is the problem with my smartphone or it just won't work.
Cost/benefit is insane, you will always get more for low price
Commentaires : I’m able to handle all my official business communications though Zoho email, even the smtp part to send emails from my site.
Avantages :
I loved the capability of have a free tier with enterprise ready functions, how I started as a freelance and be able to setup a “virtual” team right away it was insane, be able to use different personas in one Emil in incredible. The search functionality is amazing too, how you can filter by persons, attachment, content etc, the tus just great. I love the spam protection, it is so good, even categorize common emails that you receive frequent, just be aware need to add those to white list. But is better that way instead of lead a spam email to reach out to you.
Inconvénients :
As a newby when I started, it took me some time (not much) to set up, specially the look and feel with my logo.
Best Email For Small Businesses
Commentaires : My overall experience has been great and I will continue to refer people to this service.
Avantages :
I was able to create a business email using my domain and Zoho provided all of the step by step instructions for my domain provider, and I am a newbie when it comes to advanced DNS settings. I am a brand new business, but now I look so professional because I have an email that ends with my domain name, not gmail. I have already referred six of my friends. Anyone starting a business on a budget should definitely use this service. It's fantastic.
Inconvénients :
I don't really have any cons. I'm still learning this system. I would like it better if when I needed to attach something, I could just click a button to bring up all of my files. Maybe that already exists and I just haven't figured it out.
Alternatives envisagées :
Free Email sending application
Commentaires : Overall experience was good.
Avantages :
It's free to use. We can use it to send email to our friends, family members, friends and customer in which mail data is very low.
Inconvénients :
It has low storage data for its users. Therefore, we can not store more file on this. In this way our important files could not be remain save on this application.
A terrible email provider that should be avoided.
Commentaires : Horrendous and completely unprofessional. Now I see why people go to google or outlook. Great for free. If you have to pay we suggest you go to a professional company.
Avantages :
It’s cheap. That being said. You get exactly what you pay for.
Inconvénients :
Complete and utter incompetence. Every time any of our employees travels out of the country zoho turns off the emails. We have had staff with multiple trips where important business emails were missed as they didn’t receive emails nor was anyone at the company notified. We had a customer support agent [SENSITIVE CONTENT] who utterly useless making this situation right. You would think that this would have been resolved during the first few trips but oh no. Every single trip it happens. If you have a small business I would seriously avoid using this company. You get exactly what you pay for.
Overall a great email solution but with it's quirks
Commentaires : We switched from an isp hosted email account because after many years the isp could not keep up with the times, were lacking ssl support, storage space was obismally small, and support took days to solve even the smallest issues where I could actually determine what needed to be fixed on their end before they could. Zoho mail has taken all of that off of my plate, allowed me an easy way to manage most features company wide in single steps, and anytime I had a question support was always available to help, and even if their support couldn't fix problems we were having (such as the streams function) they have always been polite, professional, and eager to help any time of day or night. If you're looking for an inexpensive but feature rich email suite for your company or even for the individual I couldn't recommend these guys more even with the minor quirks we have experienced.
Avantages :
The value for the money is obvious once you start using the software. Features for even the lowest tier paid plans include white and black lists, spam filtering, mailing lists, custom groups for email accounts, and a plethora of other things. Absolutely worth the measly cost they charge per year. Out of the box you have full control via the admin panel to enable or disable pop or imap, create unlimited aliases per email, add signatures and company wide disclaimers to emails. They have their own web interface, desktop and mobile applications that come included as well. One if my absolute favorite features is the zohomail admin application for mobile which allows me to, in seconds, change any employees password if they forget it regardless of where I am. Ssl, dkim, spf, are all available out of the box as well.
Inconvénients :
One of the most frustrating features of the software is the Streams feature. You can compare this to an email client trying to merge email with their own version of social media. For those looking for a feature such as this it may not be a huge issue for you, however I run IT for approximately 100 users and not a single person wants this feature, the problem being is it comes turned on by default. Shut it off you say? If it were that easy I wouldn't be so annoyed by it. There is no admin level switch to turn off streams company wide. To do so every single user must individually log into the web application, find the streaming filter, and shut it off manually one by one... The stream feature creates 2 folders called notifications and newsletters automatically that begins sorting mail based on zohos own specifications. If you have employees who are older and not tech savvy it is extremely difficult to train everyone to check 3 different folders (including inbox) for their mail when everything use to be located in the inbox alone. After browsing through forums, support threads, etc it appears many companies and users have begged for an off switch company wide due to the exact same issue we still are plagued with for years now, however nothing had been done to rectify this time consuming and hassle of s "feature".
Zoho Mail: feature-packed, customizable online e-mail client
Commentaires : It was a great service until Zoho decided completely revamp the interface a few years ago. Someone somewhere said Mobile First as if desktop users went extinct from Sunday to Monday. But if your job is to reply to 300 email per day, you do rely on desktop! So the revamp had a lot or me-too, half-baked ideas borrowed from other email providers that were implemented in hurry with no respect to users. There was a bloodshed on Zoho boards and Zoho started closing threads as "solved" (as you do). The technical support response time went from days to weeks. Zoho approach was: "well, try using it for some time, get used and we are sure you will like it!" Nasty. For some time I went back to use the email client on my server. Then, very slowly, step by step, Zoho started improving what they broke in the first place. Rolled back a few old features. Added a few new ones people have requested for months. And you know what, it is a great email client now, admittedly better than it was, even though some problems have never been fixed. All in all the major crisis it is a happy marriage now.
Avantages :
It is a reliable email client that lets me send and receive emails from multiple domains. I rely on templates a lot and they can be neatly nested. Importantly Zoho is ahead of Google when it comes to features such as scheduling emails for example (because a group of avid users, including myself, kept bringing this up on forums and finally Zoho took it up or so it seems to me anyway). Tagging and flagging works like a charm, you can have multiple, nested folders, multiple signatures. Also, threaded view is an option that can be easily turned off, which I do really appreciate as I still have not figured out how to turn it off in Gmail. Finally, the technical support is prompt and helpful.
Inconvénients :
My biggest gripe is that you must have one domain parked on Zoho to be able to use it. Secondly POP3/SMTP/IMAP are supported so you can send and receive emails from other domains, too, but you won't avail of collaborative features of Zoho Email. I was told by Zoho tech support that unless I move the domain to Zoho, I won't be able to set up a master email account from which I could push or tag emails for attention of other staff. So we do keep forwarding emails as if 90s were not over yet! The reason why I am not moving the domain to Zoho is my past experience with Zoho. Admittedly over the years the service is much more reliable with less or literally no downtime, but I did suffer in the past and I do prefer to keep the copies of emails on the server that is not with Zoho just in case. Finally, the mobile app - many features are not part of it. So you need the desktop after all. I rely on desktop anyway but it is shocking that in this day and age, Zoho does not get mobile experience right
Reliable and very secure email hosting service.
Commentaires : Since we use Zoho Mail, we can collaborate and communicate with total tranquility and full confidence with team members and customers when required, we can share very easily all the information concerning the development of activities in our work environment, without having to worry that it can be violated, all thanks to the protection methods that Zoho Mail imparts that are highly secure and foolproof and with the advantage that all our information is hosted on Zoho servers, really the overall experience of using this service is very pleasant and positive from all points of view.
Avantages :
It is an excellent email hosting service, it is easy to implement and use, it is suitable for anyone to use regardless of their level of technological knowledge, it provides all the necessary security to keep information safe, it is flexible, it allows you to create personalized and professional looking email accounts, it provides an intuitive and very tidy UI in which I can navigate smoothly and quickly find what I need, its seamless integration with other native tools is exceptional and allow us to complete our work activities quickly, not to mention how it favors team collaboration.
Inconvénients :
I have been using Zoho Mail for several years and I have not managed to find something to dislike, to be honest Zoho Mail provides us with everything we need:1- Security: our information is always safe.2- Accessibility: we can easily and quickly access the information.3-Organization: all the information is in order.4- Easy to use5- It favors the collaboration and communication with our work team.6- It is a stable solution.7- Its great capacity of delivery.8- Its technical support is timely and very efficient.Zoho Mail meets all our expectations and does an excellent job as an email hosting service so I have nothing negative to comment.
Alternatives envisagées :
Was looking for a Gmail and Outlook alternative
Commentaires : Stable and trustworthy!
Avantages :
It has a FREE version, I can scale it up with more users when needed. As a freelancer, I can set up several email addresses, something that other providers charge extra for. Using the webmail interface, I don't have to worry about backup and which computer I have the email installed on.
Inconvénients :
Zoho consists of a lot of different modules, which makes the overview difficult to begin with. It takes some time to get used to and find all the settings.
