Commentaires : Lorsque j'ai utilisé Egnyte, j'ai trouvé que c'était un logiciel puissant et complet pour la gestion des fichiers. Bien qu'il y ait une courbe d'apprentissage pour maîtriser toutes les fonctionnalités, j'ai trouvé que l'interface était relativement facile à utiliser. If I were to reward cloud Data management vendors, I would undoubtedly reward egnyte.

Engyte provides enterprise solutioning for a small business price.

Commentaires : File sharing across the company as well as with outside resources has made this product a no brainerr for me to use and recommend.

Avantages :

Ease of setup and administration - multiple platform access (web, local drive mapping, app)

Inconvénients :

No much - given how flexible the platform is , the guidance on how to use it, and the success rate, this is really nothing I can say negative.

My experience with egnyte

Commentaires : We use Egnyte to share, access, upload/download files within and outside the office. It serves well some days but I am personally not a big fan of it knowing there are other platforms that work more seamlessly.

Avantages :

I like the fact that its cloud based and has mobile sharing too, makes sharing files between office locations possible and easy.

Inconvénients :

Its not the best content sharing platform I've used.It doesn't really integrate well with google and can be confusing to use sometimes.

Sturdy for Mid Size companies

Avantages :

Better than Dropbox, more secure than Box.

Inconvénients :

The mobile app sometimes experienced glitches and sync issues. And the desktop app doesn’t have a good offline mode in case of lost connectivity.

I have been using Egnyte for my small business for the past 6 months and have found it to be a reliable and user-friendly cloud storage solution. Commentaires : Overall we had a great experience with Egnyte. Works fast, the sync and sharing features are good. But we divided our storage solution into two different parts (high volume video files and corporate docs). We found that the maximum file size limit for Egnyte was too small for us.

There are a lot of great features including authentication, sync with 3rd party NAS devices, easy sharing.

Inconvénients :

I would say we found it too expensive for ourselves. Maybe we didn't used all of the functions that Egnyte allows.

The biggest offering for cloud storage on the market

Commentaires : It literally makes an all cloud central server possible.

Avantages :

Everything it does. Google Docs and O365 docs in the same ecossytem. Version control. SUPER granular access privilege control. Trash for up to 6 months. AND Protect as an optional add on that give AMAZING levels of data security. And on top of all that the support team is super helpful and fast to respond.

Inconvénients :

It has its buggy moments. The mobile offering is definitely weaker than the desktop. Deployment can be tricky because it has its quirks you have to train users on.

Egnyte is a does it all software with security being its strong point.

Commentaires : Egnyte has a very strong security, but it also offers other features at the same time, and they do work very well. I would recommend Egnyte for big companies who what a document management software with strong security.

Avantages :

The encryption and key management are the best ones in the sector.

Egnyte appears to be made only for big companies.

Simplest way to share files with peers

Commentaires : I have had a very good experience so far with Egnyte. The platform is very simple to use. Also creating shareable links is very straightforward and it is easy to keep track of everything through Egnyte.

Avantages :

One of the things that I like very much about Egnyte is the ability to upload files in bulk. Also, we can access files from any device, and the cloud storage security is top-notch.

Inconvénients :

I do not have any major dislike for Egnyte. Everything is to my liking, and I hope it stays that way

The ability to install Egnyte drives to your machine has made file browsing, downloading and updating a seamless breeze that integrates right into your operating system. Egnyte allows a user to revert back to previous versions or restore deleted files which is a huge help when file error or human error occurs. Their online web tool is great for searching and takes away the limit of the operating system which slows the search down. Their online tool is also great for file management and version controlling.

Inconvénients :

The only downfall I have found is that Egnyte requires a relatively strong and fast internet connection to properly perform, and I have had occasions where this has let me down and cause file malfunctions between users.

Great Product

Commentaires : It's been great. I'm currently leaving the company I'm at now and I hope they use this as the file storage and sharing service.

Avantages :

It's just easy. I need to access files and be able to send them off to coworkers and clients easily. This software allows me to access files from my computer, the website, and an app. I can share links to secure files with an expiration date to access and/or a password. I think the sharing is a lot easier than something like Google Drive. You can also easily see who has last touched a file and restore files that might have been accidentally deleted.

Inconvénients :

The search definitely has room for improvement. I wish there was a feature where you could ask the Admin of the software for access to something directly.

Egnyte is best for backup and FTP with HIPAA compliant security

Commentaires : Secure backup of all our documents, easy to set up FTP sites, that have HIPAA compliant security.

Avantages :

Easy to set up and share FTP sites. Backup is usually seamless and they email if the computer hasn't been heard from in some number of days that you determine. Egnyte has HIPAA compliant security and lots of good security settings, like invitation links that expire and cannot be forwarded. They can actually provide a HIPAA certificate! The price is very reasonable for everything that's included, and the amount of control you have over your data and settings. There's even an app for android and iPhone. There are lots more features that we don't even use.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the backup function locks up without reason. It can usually be resolved with a few clicks, but I've never figured out what happens to prompt the shutdown. The app is great for uploading photos and similar to the site, but I've never been able to use the app to invite a user - everything looks like it's working, but the "save" screen doen't pop up the way it does on the computer, and so it doesn't save the invitation and thus doesn't work. Overall, though we love this software.

Absolute must for fast growing companies

Avantages :

Egnyte and its various integrations is an absolute must for a shared file system in any startup. As a growing company, employees have their favorite tools - Engineers seem to prefere Google, Marketing and Sales and Administrative generally need MS Office, etc. Egnyte allows everything to be accessible from a single interface. "where is that slide deck? was it Google Drive or One Drive or just local to your computer?" is a major problem in a fast moving, growing company. Egnyte solves that as part of everyday business. User administration is simplified with straight forward AD integration and also key is inviting outside consultants to share documents is trivial as well. All huge workflow advantages.

Inconvénients :

The robust feature set can sometime confuse folks who's user behavior has been set by Google Drive or OneDrive (or even Box or DropBox).

Ease of use with powerful capabilities where needed

Commentaires : Overall, Egnyte is great, it's made it simple for me to access and store files in the cloud, but also integrate into automated workflows via command line tools.

Inconvénients :

Really the only thing I dislike about Egnyte is that there are no data sovereignty capabilities as far as I can tell. You can't specify where data is stored geographically.

Egnyte for Secure Online Storage

Avantages :

Egnyte does a great job for online secure document storage. With tight hierarchal permissions, it's a great option for remote companies who don't have local offices to secure sensitive documents. It's easy to set up and manage.

Inconvénients :

On occasion I find it can be slow to load.

Really nice interface and easy to use

Commentaires : We use it as our only file server. We dont have to manage any local file servers thanks to this system.

Avantages :

Alot of nice features, integrates directly with windows and Mac. Permission structure is easy to use.

Inconvénients :

No support for Push groups using sso. I have also occasionally experienced sync problems with files.

Cloud solution with top notch sharing options

Commentaires : I'm very happy with Egnyte. Once I got the touch on how to use it I have found it easy. The desktop version works really well and sync my files automatically.

Avantages :

Egnyte is a super cloud solution that have a nice folder structure with a really manageable permission scheme. It's easy to share files - internally and externally. I really appreciate the option for changing url when sharing files. I can also backtrack all my shared links and I can see who have accessed it when. The applications also do the job.

Inconvénients :

The application have required manually installed updates. I think they might have solved this now. The reports option should maybe have some more options and flexibility.

Egnyte Review

Avantages :

This product allows my clients to send me large files with great ease. I prefer its functionality to SharePoint or Dropbox because its interface is more user-friendly and the ability to download multiple folders to a single zip folder is very convenient.

Inconvénients :

My clients have encountered a few problems on the uploading end that have required uploading an item more than once.

Easy and Efficient

Commentaires : Overall the experience has been great. Has improved workplace efficiency and collaboration tremendously.

Avantages :

Remote access to work server files make working on the go a breeze. I can access anything from anywhere so that I can have all the information I need even when on client meetings.

Inconvénients :

It can get a little getting used to at first. You no longer will store files on your desktop or folders but rather within a folder in Egnyte.

Great document manager

Commentaires : Very, very easy to organize and manage file, doc, pdfs. super easy to move them around and download. I really like how you can send invites for others to view a document.

Avantages :

I love that is can make multiple folders and put permission on it. I like how i can construct a filing system that meet the job needs/criteria and able to keep it a standard.

Inconvénients :

the favorite star, it never seems to work for me to go to a shortcut folder fast

Simple file sharing with governance capabilities

Avantages :

The software is as easy to use as things that Dropbox and Google Drive, but provides additional capabilities for advanced users, such as FTP access where necessary.

Inconvénients :

So far I haven't really encountered any issues apart from not having a Linux based sync client.

Make Nonprofit Board Volunteers Happy!

Avantages :

This product provides the easiest way to share and collaborate on documents for remote volunteer bird members. It’s intuitively set up like a normal server, but allows for real time live collaboration in documents.

Inconvénients :

I would not change a thing on this software solution!

Egnyte is very good, but it could be great.

Commentaires : No complaints here. They've always been responsive, courteous, and professional.

Ease of setup. Ease of use. Quasi-Explorer-type interface feels familiar to clients.

Inconvénients :

The permissions need more granularity. Specifically, there needs to be a way to create virtual collections of documents, and then selectively share those virtual buckets with clients.
