Commentaires : Fantastic, great team. They are so good it feels like we are part of the same company sometimes! They are fun, very helpful and well mannered! I love customer service and this team are a great example of how a company should project those skills.

Avantages :

I love that rotacloud has allowed me to gain time back for other responsibilities. It makes rota writing so much easier and quicker, helping my work load be more manageable.

Inconvénients :

I would say our staff would raise issues because they are reluctant to use the excellent help section. I personally do advise to use the product on the laptop rather than the app for those who struggle with mobile tech.

Good shift management system for arts organisations

Commentaires : Its a really good system for our venue (performing arts) that is popular with all our users. The support is quick, helpful and friendly.

Avantages :

Very easy to use and is popular with our full-time staff and our freelance and casual staff. Easy to see who is called and when and what work they are going to be doing.

Inconvénients :

The desktop interface could do with a bit of updating to show a bit more information and some different options (views) for how the information is displayed.

Commentaires : It was easy to set up and for all stakeholders to use and understand. It has definitely filled a much needed gap for communicating working hours, absence management, payroll reporting and has increased the availability of management information.

Avantages :

The functionality to get effective information for processing payroll and support business management analysis.

Inconvénients :

It lacks a little flexibility as not all our workforce are rota-based and so functionality and reporting can be limited for parts of our workforce.

Rotacloud for an independent UK based bookseller

Commentaires : My independent bookselling business based in the UK has seven locations using RotaCloud and we have recently added Special Events for the shows that we attend. We find it very useful and generally the staff like it.

Avantages :

RotaCloud can be used easily on both desktop and mobile devices. My payroll specialist is able to see all vacation and holiday taken by each staff member. I'm now using RotaCloud to handle staffing for events.

Inconvénients :

Some staff find it tricky to use. I'm not super happy with the plane symbol for vacation, how about a palm tree?

Avantages :

Rotacloud was very simple to set up and very easy to use. Its intuitive and the layout is functional. There are video guidelines to help the set up, and the online support is mostly very quick. Employee online documents are great for storing HR related material and there are options for the employee to sign, so you have proof that they have read the document. Lots of reports on costs, employee lateness and sickness, etc. Shifts are easy to set up and copy.

Inconvénients :

Changing pay rates half way through a pay period cannot be done, but this is a mild niggle. A shift week can be copied with ease, but one shift can be copied but not with ease, its a hold the mouse button down and move function. Would be good to have a drop down calendar to enable a single shift to be copied with ease.

The most efficient way to schedule shifts.

Commentaires : It has really helped me in tracking my employees working hours and even monitor their absence. It makes it easier to understand my employees shift costs and manage them well,it's so amazing.

Avantages :

It is a very easy to use tool and I use it for arranging shifts and recording time. We no longer worry about staff looking or staffs showing up for the wrong shift, RotaCloud has our back. For the beginners this is what you need for effective in your work. It drives the productivity and efficiency of my business.

Inconvénients :

I haven't encountered major challenge so far.

Couldn't be without it

Commentaires : It is an absolutely great product, easy to use and when I get stuck always quick friendly advice. I use it every day and couldn't run the business without it. I have not tried other products in this field but I haven't had to because it does almost everything I want and with the regular updates I am sure the things that I might want will come sooner or later. I wish all software companies worked as well as the Rotacloud team do.

Easy to use, useful updates of things that you didn't know you needed but end up using all the time

Inconvénients :

I haven't really got any dislikes. It does what it says.

Best Rota Tool

Commentaires : Happy to have found and decided to adopt this software, best decision ever. Only when you have struggled with rota and keeping track of employees' attendance, that's when you appreciate more the ease of implementation and use of such a tool.

Avantages :

Fresh, easy straight forward to implement and use. Keeps all in order and helps with employee attendance performance, scheduling, reporting and more.

Inconvénients :

Nothing in particular. Every business is different and has different needs.

Commentaires : Excellent. 5*! It has improved our scheduling process, tracking employee absences, employee records significantly.

Avantages :

Ease of use, simple and effective, employees find it very easy to use and use/follow for scheduling which is great. Love bulk editing on scheduling. The ability to be able to edit employee files with ease, add files, send memos etc.

Inconvénients :

Phone app isn’t as good / easy to use as the desktop app. Has improved with each update / release but desktop is still ultimately better / much easier to use and phone doesn’t support some features.

Rota Cloud for Heath Care Sector

Commentaires : Very good. Customer service is great but as we grow we would like weekend support as well. we are a 24/7 operation

Avantages :

Ease of implementation and ease of use. Very Very easy to use

Inconvénients :

Some areas are being developed. Would like to be able to put staff changes on in advance so they come into action on the specified date. At present have to sent a reminder in my calendar.Not able to control who picks up available shifts - so don't use this function. We have to consider skill mix in our rotas.We would like a HR option as well but cost is a factor - we are a charity.

Time saving saff scheduling

Commentaires : Overall rotacloud has definitely saved me time and covered shifts that would otherwise not have been fully staffed.

Avantages :

Knowing that staff have seen their hours for the week with having to check. Any open shifts are quickly visual to staff members to cover.

Inconvénients :

That everyone can see everyone else's shifts. Should be an option that this isn't needed for some but is needed for others.

Commentaires : We are saving time which is the most important feature of all.

Avantages :

We are only using the scheduling feature at present but it just works so well! We are looking seriously into upgrading and potentially losing some other systems as RotaCloud seems to do it all. one of the best features of RotaCloud is the customer service, whenever we have had questions they have been answered swiftly and professionally and always followed up.

Inconvénients :

I can't think of anything to add here at present.

Recommended Rota Management for Hospitality Business

Commentaires : We moved from using excel spreadsheet rotas with numerous versions to this software. It has made rota planning so much easier as the business has grown.

Avantages :

Quick and easy to view shifts for myself and my staff

Inconvénients :

It would be great to be able to drag shifts from one location to another. Zero hours contacts annual leave calculation without the rest of the Time & Attendance module would be useful.

Commentaires : Fantastic, as mentioned fantastic value for money and gets the job done! Some fantastic features and also the customer support service is world class.

Avantages :

My main pro about this software is that it is fairly straight forward to use and has lots of great features including the capacity to clock in and out, put in leave requests and generally build and manage rotes. And it is exceptionally good value for money.

Inconvénients :

I don't really have any issues only suggests of what should be added. As the business owner, manager of my company and also an employee elsewhere that uses another software similar to this there are a few features that could massively improve rotacloud. I have listed my suggestions below; - Messaging capacity - team should be able to message each other, their department, managers etc. - Leave feature isn't as straight forward as could be. - Team should be able to just put a days request off in and select the actual times they are requesting off whether it be 10am-5pm (college, uni) or all day as currently all leaves go on like booking in a holiday. - PLEASE ADD A DAILY LABOUR CARD REPORT!!! - this should include two sections am and pm that shows you who is on what shift, what department and any open shifts. - I am desperate for this feature as I currently create on myself so I can easily look in front of me as to who is working when. This report should also show each team members weekly hours, overtime highlighted in red, and a summary of the daily labour costs. - LOOK at Hot Schedules as their daily labour report is fantastic.
